    Wrapped Canvas

Ok, I have found a new favorite photography display item. REALLY love the look of this. It is a photo printed (in my case BIG at 45×31) on actual canvas which is then stretched around the back of the wooden frame. So you can even see the picture on the side as it wraps. Hung it up in the den. Am looking forward to doing some more. If you are interested in one, let me know. I’ll hook you up. 240_4082

    A storyboard…

Just a sample of a storyboard. Can be done with any pictures, any arrangement, any color scheme, any embellishments. Click on the image to see the full sized version. Timmy didn’t care for the apples too much!Applestoryboard

Here is one other I made tonight. I will be offering these as an add on item to all my photo shoots. They’re so fun!Ribbitsstoryboard

Ok, so I’m having so much fun…I had to add one more. Plus, all the pix are of Timmy, so the boys should get their own too. Baseballstoryboard

    the window

Img_2413 Thanks Gina for suggesting that I put this on the blog- almost forgot about it! OK, so here are some pix of the window project I did. I had seen something similar in BetterHomes and Gardens Scrapbook Magazine and fell in love. It took me almost a year to actually do it-I had been hoarding windows since we did the construction on the house like 5 years ago-but I just never knew exactly what I wanted to do. I am still always on the lookout for any good old windows (yes, that does mean that I pick thru people’s garbage and scour any homes under construction- I admit it. but hey, whatever it takes to find those windows…). I also have another one that I did that I have to take pictures of to post on here. I’ll do that later this week. So here are the windows which are hanging on the stairway wall. Img_2395 Img_2414 And sorry that the quality of the pix isn’t the best. It’s a hard angle to take the pix from and there is not a whole lot of light there. The background paper behind each pane is 12×12 scrapbook paper in coordinating colors cut into strips. Then some pictures and embellishments. Some rubons applied directly to the glass fronts. Thanks for looking!

so, here it is. my blog.

everyone else seems to have one, so I am joining in. I highly doubt anyone at all will be reading this, but it will be a good place for me to "keep notes" on what is happening around here. That way when I am ready to scrapbook the pictures, I will have some idea about what I might want to write. And maybe I will start posting some of the pictures from my paid shoots on here too. I guess we’ll just see what comes of it.
