    happy 4th!

Since I have nothing particularly 4th of julyish to post today (I may later in the week. We’ll see how motivated I am to take pictures today at the beach!)  I figured I’d post some pictures both from the beach and with ‘america’s pasttime’. We went to our beach club like we do every year for Fathers Day, and took my in-laws annual Christmas Card photo. So here it is, but if you are on their christmas card list, just forget you saw the pictures here.

Jack, James, Patrick, Sean, Timmy, Aidan, and Brendan. 7 grandchildren. 7 boys.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, safe 4th today and takes a moment to remember WHY we are free. We were just in Boston earlier this weekend and they will be reading the Declaration of Independence from the balcony of the Old State House today- that would’ve been so cool to catch but we’re back home already so maybe another year.

    7 for Sunday

    1. LOST- I still am just as lost as I was when I started watching this show in the beginning, but I loved every minute of the 6 seasons and am SO sad it’s over. I really loved the finale and adored watching all the couples remember eachother. It was (to me) the only ‘thinking persons’ tv show on (other than Carnivale where I also didn’t know wtf was going on, but it was so good and I was (and am still) so mad when they cancelled it) and I’m waiting til season 6 comes out and thinking about a big, fat LOST marathon with the big boys this summer.

    2. Inconsiderate people  suck. Our neighbors had a garage sale last weekend and not one but 3 different people parked right in front of our driveway throughout the course of the day. It was so freakin rude and made we wish I had a big giant crappy car so I could just ram right thru their cars and into my driveway. So annoying and inconsiderate. I would never park in front of someone’s driveway. How do you do that and just walk away?

    3. ipad air hockey app is awesome. No, I don’t have the ipad but we stopped in the Apple store at the mall last weekend on our boys/mom night out and tried it out. I LOVE air hockey and that app was so cool. I want the ipad just for that!

    4. We have a bird’s nest inside our wreath hanging on the front of the house. There are even a few little blue sparrow eggs in there. So far the mommy bird and I are co-existing peacefully but I’m fully expecting to be dive bombed once the babies hatch. Holy Tippy Hendren.

    5. Went on a not so little shopping spree to B&H in the city this week and bought myself all kinds of goodies including 2 new delicious lenses. The 70-200mm 2.8L and the 100mm macro lens. Took a bunch of pictures with them but especially with the 70-200 since buying them on Tuesday. Uh….love!

    6. A bunch from the boys recent games (all taken with the 70-200). Grandpa Jack has been coming to all the boys games(and I do mean ALL the boys; Jack & Patrick’s, Timmy’s, Brendan’s & Sean’s). I think he likes it as much as they enjoy seeing him in the stands! John has been ‘coach pitching’ for Timmy’s team, and the boys had some good hits and catches in their latest game which I hung out for. They are playing so much better (yay Coach Bryan!) and the games are fun to watch. I was even upset when they called their game in the 4th inning for rain/thunder/lightening. Whoever thought I would be upset that a game was called?

    7. Jack & Patrick had their spring concert this week, and I got to use the new lens for that too! Took a few pictures from backstage too (big thanks to Beth W. for getting me back there!!). I figured it was their last concert at Hewitt so I did whatever I could to get some good shots of the drumming since they are all the way in the back it’s always hard. They did SO good at the concert and I was so proud of them! All those years of drum lessons and practice paid off for sure (thanks Jim and Hakka for getting them the lessons)! The boys also tried out for middle school band percussion this week as there are 20 elementary school drummers and only 8-12 spots in middle school to fill. I’m hoping they BOTH make it. I’ll keep you posted. And the chorus portion of the night was fantastic- especially the Lion King medley.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, sunny and safe Memorial Day weekend. Can’t believe we’re at the unofficial start of summer already! I also hope that everyone takes a few minutes at the minimum to remember the real reason for this holiday and takes the time to remember and thank the troops who have given their lives so that we can live freely and safely. And their families who support them. And all the troops who are fighting today to keep us safe.

    timmy’s 1st t-ball games

It’s official. Everyone in this house is all about the baseball. Well, everyone except for me- I just take the baseball pictures. Timmy started t-ball and although he missed the 1st two games (one cause he was getting over the whole asthma thing and the other cause we were in Jamaica) he finally got to start this week. John is managing Timmy’s team (isn’t he the best daddy?!) and still coaching Jack & Patrick’s team. Makes things very interesting when both teams play on the same night.

Anyway, here are some shots from Timmy’s first 2 games.

Yes, he really is that little compared to other kids his age. Kinda sad. (Timmy and his BFF Jack. Jack’s dad is one of the coaches for their t-ball team.)

Love, love, love the tongue hanging out all the time. And the head that is just too little for the batting helmet.

Jack & Patrick have been helping out during the games on 1st and 3rd bases. Although for this game we had to leave after 15 minutes cause their game was starting. Again, those nights are very interesting.

Jack at bat and his littlest brother Brady (aka my boyfriend) with their mom/my friend Jen. Jen’s going to be starting her own business very soon. I’m not allowed to share what it is yet, but I promise I’ll let you know as soon as I can. I’ll be helping out with some pictures for her website and product so you’ll definitely see everything on the blog sooner or later. And yes, Jen was the one who was my first bsquared employee who is now leaving me already to concentrate on her own venture. I’ll be introducing you to bsquared’s newest assistant soon.

Really, could the kid be any cuter? I know I’m biased and all, but seriously.

I’m off for 8 shoots over the next two days- wish me luck!

    take me out…

Well, you know the rest. The big boys baseball season has officially begun and they have played 2 games so far. I’m happy to report that I actually caught some of both of them!! And of course, took a bunch of pictures (people wouldn’t recognize me without my camera I don’t think).

They lost the first game and had a come from way behind win in the second game. It was actually very exciting! (yes, even for me!!)

    Total determination from Patrick.

Jack pitched an inning and did pretty well.

Their friend and teammate John C. Hi Stefanie!! (waving)

John getting his coach on. He’s one of the boys team’s coaches again this year and really seems to enjoy it a lot. He’ll also be co-managing Timmy’s t-ball team next month. He’s a good daddy and a busy guy!!

This is what Timmy does during the games.

Some shots for their batting 1000 Coach Bryan, so he can work on whatever he needs to with them. (They’ve been going to training with Coach Bryan for a few months now and he’s helped them SO much. More on Coach Bryan and Coach Mike in another post coming soon.)

Looking forward to catching some more wins by the boys!

32nd annual beyrer family fishing trip

It’s not really a fishing trip anymore, but after years of it being one, it’s still called that. Now its a baseball game and bbq down at Uncle Dick and Aunt Cathy’s house in Pt. Lookout. The house that I love in the town I hope to someday own a house. Mayberry on the Beach.

I think this is probably the last personal post for me for a while. Well into busy season already and have lots of client sessions to blog. Although there will have to be a back to school one I think being that school starts in 1 more day. Yay and blech all at the same time.
