…and the rest of Timmy’s birthday vegetable
It’s a family tradition to have a candle in every meal of the day on your birthday.
In the Carvel on the night of his party:
At breakfast in his Cheerios on his actual birthday:Picked him up for lunch for a date and he had Subway. With a candle. And his dinner request was sushi. The waitresses were pretty confused when I asked for a lighter for the candle for the dinner. They thought it should go in dessert. Wrong. Nothing says happy 7th birthday like a yellowtail roll with a candle in it.

the start of Timmy’s birthday vegetable
Timmy celebrated his 7th birthday this week, and we kicked it off with a BounceU party in Oceanside on Saturday morning. (for those of you new to the blog, it’s called a birthday vegetable because when Timmy was little he couldn’t say birthday festival. All the boys birthday’s have always been a week long event, hence the festival/vegetable).
The three amigos.Crazyboys.They broke out the gladiator ring and Jayson and Jack went head to head. It did not end well for Jack.Timmy and Jack N. best of friends and fierce competitors.Patrick vs. Brendan (Patrick in Giants jersey, Brendan in Patriots. Kinda went the same way the superbowl did.) And twin vs. twin on the right. Jack kept getting knocked down so after the 2nd time he decided that everytime he fell he’d just take Patrick down with him. Inseperable. They were no more than a foot apart the whole party.Checkin out the loot.
BounceU puts on a great party. Timmy had a great time with all his friends (we went boys only this year). And somehow I didn’t get a single picture of TimTom (Timmy and his cousin Tommy) together even though they were at the party together, they came over the house after the party and we all went out to dinner together. Sometimes I’m just off my game. Back tomorrow with more of the birthday vegetable.

miranda’s sweet 16
Right before Christmas I headed over to Westbury Manor to photograph the lovely Miranda’s Sweet 16 party. I loved her gorgeous gold gown and how it totally coordinated with all the jewel tones they had the venue decked out in. I was only there for about 2hrs, but it looked like a rockin party with all the kids up dancing and having a great time. And although it was ffffffreezing outside, the family opted for some photos outside on the grounds. To me at least, it was definitely worth it!
Hope the rest of your birthday was wonderful Miranda! And may all your wishes come true.

the stac family
While the first go at this shoot was pretty much rained out after about 20 minutes, we agreed to meet back at Pt. Lookout the next day for a retry. And it all worked out for the best! The first day was like a mini hurricane- freezing with a really strong wind and intermittent rain. Good times. But the weather gods made it all up to us the next day with a really pretty sunset. And good kids!
It was someone’s birthday. Can you guess who?
We only were allowed limited time with the hat shots. The two pretty birthday princesses. (you can tell this shot is from the first day with the winds!)Sweet baby!!
Thanks to all of you for braving the weather the first day and coming back the next! Love you guys so much it was a bonus to see you two days in a row!!

tina’s sweet 16
Held at Leonards of Great Neck, it was quite the party! Tina was a princess and seemed to have a fantastic time at her “ball”. Loved the dress and all the coordinating colors throughout the venue and the family’s outfits, even the lighting! Thanks for letting me share in your day Tina! And happy birthday!!
Making her grand entrance on the arms of her big brothers. Proud mom.A cinderella cake fit for a princess.Dancing with Dad.
The candle lighting was so lovely and you could see that Tina worked really hard on her speeches for each candle. She even made herself cry a few times!Hoping all your wishes come true!
