    the stac family

While the first go at this shoot was pretty much rained out after about 20 minutes, we agreed to meet back at Pt. Lookout the next day for a retry. And it all worked out for the best! The first day was like a mini hurricane- freezing with a really strong wind and intermittent rain. Good times. But the weather gods made it all up to us the next day with a really pretty sunset. And good kids!

It was someone’s birthday. Can you guess who?

We only were allowed limited time with the hat shots. The two pretty birthday princesses. (you can tell this shot is from the first day with the winds!)Sweet baby!!

Thanks to all of you for braving the weather the first day and coming back the next! Love you guys so much it was a bonus to see you two days in a row!!

    the nevi family

Always a pleasure (but also always added pressure) to take photos of friends. But I had a great time with one of my BFF’s Jen who happens to be the mom of Timmy’s very BFF in the whole wide world. We headed down to Pt. Lookout for some quick family photos. The boys are always NOT into it until there is jumping and running involved so we did as much of that as possible- and ended up with (mostly) happy boys with real smiles!

Gorgeous momma!! And Timmy’s BFF Jack. Trying hard not to smile for me. Happy boys!Someone was in a mood. This one is my biggest challenge to shoot. He’s literally happy one minute, looking to kill you the next. And has the best smiles and worst dirtiest looks ever!Hope you like them Jen! Love you guys!!

    goodbye summer

So today being the first full day of fall, I figured I should probably post my end of summer pictures before its like November.

Just some shots of the boys and their friends at the beach club toward the end of the summer.

It was so overcast, humid and almost misty at the beach that day. So you’ll see the pictures get a little fuzzier as the day goes on. However, they were all taken with my newly fixed 70-200 lens that I’m so happy is finally sharp!!I taught Timmy how to boogie board this summer. So glad I did- he loved it!!!Stupid rats with wings. But, the lens is nice and sharp!!
Uncle Nelson torturing Jack and then falling into the hole that the boys dug earlier. Man, I miss the summer. A lot. Missing the lack of schedule, lazy days and beach & pool. A really lot.

Well, happy fall. (and I still have one more summery personal session to post so there will be one last glimpse of summer here on the blog coming soon).

Super glam. Love it!Gorgeous. Both of them.I didn’t even ask them to do this.
Barn on the beach? Ok, yes please.Grabbed a few with their very pretty and sweet mom! Is it possible that they get more gorgeous every year? Yummy lens flare. Thanks girls!! Hey, can we do it again next week?!

    the griff family

I met Judy not too long ago and we became fast facebook friends. She owns her own nutrition and wellness business and is so good at what she does- very inspirational with tips and ideas shared every day. Those of you who know me, that whole scene isn’t so much for me but I do try when I can, especially with Judy’s encouragement! I was so happy when she booked a session with me so I could sort of pay her back with something I could do for her. So here she is with her awesome family!

We got the shoot in right before the hurricane hit, but the ocean was already all churned up and wavey.

The boys. Starting high school and middle school this year. Big changes. And the pretty girls who are in their sophomore year of college and senior year of high school. Grandma & Grandpa joined us for just a few pictures.Believe it or not, he landed on his feet. The bugs at this point in the shoot were like a swarm. They were everywhere, and it was disgusting. But the ‘models’ really did awesome and just pretended that they weren’t there. For a minute anyway. Thanks for a great session!! Hope you enjoy your photos!
