A time honored tradition in Manhasset, the Senior Frolic is put on by all the parents of the senior class. It’s a different theme every year and they do it to the nines (or tens!). Even the bathrooms were amazing and not a detail missed. Everything is hand built, hand painted. This year was a beach theme and it was as amazing as ever. I’m sure you’ll recognize some of the parents from previous shoots. I’m so glad they brought me on as their photographer again this year!
My very, very good photografriend Liz is now a full-fledged nurse! With a nursing job and everything! I’m so super proud of her and I know how hard she worked (and got like all A’s) for this while still running her photography biz, taking care of her family and still making time for her friends (especially going to Islanders games with this friend!) Liz is the kind of friend that everyone wants- she’s so THERE. So tuned in with her friends, compassionate, does nice things just cause and is fun af! I’m so lucky to have her in my circle (well, especially since she’s now my daughter and she is the mother of my grandchildren). She’ll still be doing some photography and taking some sessions and parties. But she’s going to be like the BEST nurse ever!
I know it’s been a little quiet around here- I was away on a 10 day Ireland vacation and I’m just catching up.And there’s a LOT of catching up to do!
I feel like I just photographed Cassie’s bat mitzvah a few weeks ago and now she’s off to Penn State in a few weeks. So glad to see this extended family that I”ve had the pleasure of photographing for many, many years. Weddings, babies, occassions- you name it, we did it!
I have to say this was just the nicest group of girls! Such a fun friend group! Very easy going, so low maintence. And only one selfie break at the end! (i am so totally in for selfies, but when kids do them in the middle of the shoot it can be a little distracting!) Wishing them all the best time in college- they have some great schools they’re going to. Of course I’m more than a little partial to the University of Miami and “can’t like” University of Florida because old rivalries die hard, but I’ll let it go this time!
I met Patrick’s mom thru a University of Mississippi Facebook group- both our boys will be attending Ole Miss in just a few weeks! Apparently, mom is known as “aunt flash” among her family because she is always making them pose for pictures during family events, so she hired me so she could actually enjoy her son’s party! I hope she (and they all) did! Be seeing them all soon on campus! Congratulations to Patrick! Hotty Toddy!
