andreya & mike- the reception
So sad to be finishing up the last installment of this awesome and super fun wedding, but it’s chock full of photo goodness, so let’s get on with it shall we?
Even with this, somehow they still love each other. A lot. Some fun entrances from the wedding party.Toasts and speeches.Love that they are right in the middle of the sea of family and friends. They had a cigar rolling booth outside. Pretty cool!Someone was very, very psyched for the bouquet toss. Helmet and all.
Congrats again you two! I know you’re going to have long and happy marriage, especially if the wedding was any indication of things to come. -
andreya & mike- beach & other portraits
Heading back to Andreya & Mike’s special day (you can find the other installments here: getting ready, first look & portraits, ceremony). Every time I edit and post another part of the wedding, I tell myself that THIS is my favorite part. So my newest favorite part coming up below. And once again, big thanks to Kate Meyer for all her second shooting amazingness all day.
We were racing the lasts of the light big time.
The funnest wedding party! And then we went back on the lawn to finish up some portraits we didn’t take before the ceremony. My BFF Jen & her awesome husband Brian. Jen & Brian are Timmy’s BFF Jack’s mom & dad. Love that kind of symmetry.
Only have the reception left to post so that’ll be coming your way soon. -
pretty, plum & luxe
I recently received a gorgeous album that I created for a client and wanted to share a few pictures of it with you. I was beyond happy with the way it turned out, and seeing my client pour over each page while smiling from ear to ear just made it all the more special!
Here’s the bsquared 10×10″ Luxe album in plum leather with a custom monogram. Taking pictures of pictures never comes out that great, but you can see how gorgeous the whole album is with it’s deliciously thick pages, sturdy binding and panoramic layout (so there’s no breaks in the middle of the two pages, giving it a totally seamless presentation). If you’re thinking about ordering a luxe album from your session or event, I have samples in the office to share with you. I promise you will see why the luxe albums are luxe!!
I’ll be back after the weekend with a ton of new posts (after having a 5 session week this week, I’ll have plenty of new material to blog!) Happy Friday!

andreya & mike- the ceremony
Getting back into wedding mode and happy to bring you the next set from Andreya & Mike. Again, big thanks go out to Kate for all her help during the ceremony (it’s impossible to capture both sides at once!). And a shout out to Lovin Oven for the beautiful florals.
The cutest ring bearer and flower girl you ever did see…And here comes the bride…Both the mom’s came up for a beautiful sand ceremony. And the kiss (from multiple angles).Yay! Married!!The bride found this shot on pintrest and requested it specifically. I loved the idea too and was more than happy to fulfill her request!
Stay tuned for a few more portraits- on the beach! And of course the reception coming soon too. -
andreya & mike- first look and portraits
Continuing on with Andreya & Mike’s amazing wedding at the Lands End in Sayville, they opted for a first look (where the bride and groom see each other before the walk down the aisle) which made me beyond thrilled as it gives the bride & groom a really special moment together. And gave us some extra time for photos as well so we don’t have to cut into the whole cocktail hour for formal portraits.
First showing you the whole wedding party!
Now onto the first look. Mike was waiting patiently with his back turned so he wouldn’t see Andreya until THE moment. (working with Kate, we’re able to catch both sides of the first look)So ready to get married! But first we got all of the formal portraits done. Next up, the ceremony. Stay tuned!
