puppies!
Because basically people suck and everyone is so nasty today. Here are some puppies. They were born to go into a service dog program- guide dogs for the blind, service dogs for the disabled, alert dogs for those that suffer with diabetes, seizure disorders, etc. service dogs for Veterans. They were 5 weeks old here and not yet allowed on the grass or ground outside so we were limited on our photography options, but omg the cuteness on any surface!! My friend Pam is the foster mom and wanted some pictures of these cuties before they were off to the next step in their service life.
Look at the puppies and stop your whining.

the kell family
Many years of photographing this awesome crew, and I just refuse to believe the oldest boy is in high school now. Just not happening. I still love that the littlest is the one girl (you can see her recent headshot session with me here) and still is as rough and tumble as her brothers. Totally undaunted and right in the mix. They’re always a fun, gorgeous bunch (I mean, come ON. Even the dog is good looking and matches the family!).

introducing…baby thomas
Nothing like starting off a brand new year with a brand new baby! My first session of the year was for this adorable little guy and his family. He had the best forehead wrinkles I’ve ever seen! I’ve photographed his cousins many times over the years (thanks for the referral Annie!) and was so glad to meet more of the family. I think their poor dog was feeling a little displaced but was quite amusing during the session. Hoping to photograph you guys again as Thomas grows (beach next time!).

the litt family
A great session for my personal project of photographing active duty military families for free. My very first US Army family (loved their army theme colors!) who have twin girls and another girl on the way. They were so fun to work with and chat with along the way. Show them some thanks for their service to our country!

wyatt (the dog)
After photographing an event, made a quick visit to my cousin Susan’s house to finally meet her gorgeous golden, Wyatt. He looks like a big cuddly bear, and kinda acts like a teddy bear. He’s been doing some dog shows with some successes (well, yeah cause he’s gorgeous!) and just turned a year old. Since it is now confirmed that Timmy is allergic to all dogs (adults, hypo allergenic, non -shedding, any kind) at least I have another one to visit on my rounds when I get the urge.
Wyatt w his mommy, Susan. He looks like a bear, right?
With his big brother who has survived cancer and is a big old mush with a sweet face. So happy I’m posting something other than pictures of Timmy or basketball? Well, not to worry. Those posts resume tomorrow.
