photo a day- day 21
This guy slept till 11:30am today, and only got up then cause I made him. Chilled by the pool, had lunch at the beachside cafe, played basketball, went in the ocean, went to dinner. Just a typical February in Florida.

Kinda losered out on today’s photo. Was too busy enjoying our first full vacation day today and didn’t think to bring the big camera with me to the pool or the beach- did take a few with the iPhone, but that doesn’t count for this project. But this is the view at night from the apartment which still doesn’t suck. That’s the Porsche building on the left (the tallest) where each apartment is one whole floor of the building, some have private plunge pools on their balconies and car elevators that take your car up to your apartment. I’ll be moving in next week. Yeah, right.

Ahhhhh….much better.
So, so happy to be back in the land of color and warmth. I seriously almost cried from happiness looking out of the plane window and seeing blue skies and green grass and NO FREAKING SNOW. The flight was good (and we didn’t crash- so yay!). Stopped at the beach at sunset on the way to the apartment from the airport, so worth the stopover. Then Padrino’s for dinner. Like I said, much better.
I can’t tell if the picture is edited correctly or if the color is all weird, if the exposure is too light or dark or anything else since I’m working from my laptop. So if it looks all weird, sorry. I’ll reedit all of the Florida pictures once I get home. But I gotta keep up with the photo a day project.

Hoping to be leaving the frozen effing tundra that is New York and heading to the warm sunniness of south Florida. That was actually supposed to happen today, like right this minute I should be taking off, but because of the weather advisory the airline said you could switch your flight to another day. I figured with the forecast that was the way to go. Especially after seeing what happened to so many of my friends when the last storm hit and everyone got cancelled and stranded. But of course since I did change our flight, it’s now perfectly fine out. With my traveling luck, tomorrow will be crappy and our flight will get either delayed, cancelled or crash. Yes, I am that optimistic when it comes to flying.
And if I don’t see this sight again for the rest of my life, I will be perfectly okay with that. I need warmth, sun, palm trees, beaches and a tan. Bad. Hoping tomorrows picture of the day has some of those items in it instead of this bullish*t.

There has been a whole lotta this around here this winter. Not much else do to. And with Jack away until tonight, they are hogging up every second on the XboxOne. At least they’re getting along…
