introducing…the storybook album
Because you have a story to tell! (and that story is awfully garbled and difficult to hear while being told from your kitchen drawer where your disc is).
So, let me ask you: where are your bsquared session photos? In a drawer? A few in frames, but most put away and you can’t quite remember where? And how about your session disc-hmmmm, where IS that thing?
Lets face it- every picture from your session isn’t going to be framed and hung as a huge 20×30 wall print. That one with everyone making funny faces or your son picking his nose? Probably not something you want hanging over your mantle, but you just looooove that picture and it always makes you smile when you look at. So, why leave all those shots that aren’t quite wall worthy, (but still are a big part of your story) in a drawer or on a disc no one ever sees? That makes me kinda sad! Let’s get those nose picking, giggling, pouty, silly, jumping, cuddly, ridiculous pictures that are uniquely your family, out there for everyone to see your story!
So happy to have a new addition to the bsquared family of products- the storybook album! The storybook falls right in-between the layflat album and the luxe album. Deliciously thick pages with a mix of full bleed images (pictures that go from side to side and top to bottom of the page) and clean collages with a number of images per page. A photo wrap around cover and back. Gutterless pages (so you don’t get a black line and a gap between the left and right pages with that line going right down the middle of someone’s head!) And most importantly, your choice of the number of pages between 10 (20 spreads) and 50 pages (100 spreads) all to tell your family’s story.
You are welcome to use images from one or several bsquared sessions, all combined into one storybook. I’ll design the book for you and you’ll get to see a proof before it’s sent to print for any changes you’d like to make. Storybook albums come in 5×5″, 8×8, 10×10 and 12×12 sizes and prices start at $375. Not a bad deal for a lifetime of memories in your very own custom storybook!

rvc royals- first game of the season
And crap, it was ffffffreezing at the game. I still have no idea how any of them were able to play it was so cold out.
All the boys have changed so much since the fall/winter. They’re all taller, broader and just different shapes than they used to be. Seeing them on the field, it was so hard to tell who was who, when last year it was so easy. Plus a few of them changed #s so that made it all the harder. Jack pitching…And a pretty sunset even though it was like 3 degrees out.Johnny pitching…Timmy freezing.A run down at 3rd base. Zach in action. A new Royal- Nick (hit a double. I missed a ton of shots of them all hitting- it was so cold and I couldn’t move the camera and focus fast enough. Boo.)Trying to keep his hands warm. Patrick had a great hit (yeah, missed that one too) and made it to first.Heading home. Well, I almost got the shot…Freezing parents & siblings. The whole team. From the left standing: Jack C, Glenn, Johnny, Mike, Zach, Patrick, Marc (another new Royal player), Michael. Front row kneeling: Jack, Julia, Anthony & Nick. Barely visible in the background Sean, Coach Rob, Coach Kevin, Coach John and Coach John.Looking forward to a great season, but it better be warmer for the next game I’m at.

in my thoughts, boston.
Can’t really find the words I want to write. But can’t stop thinking about the disgusting, cowardly, horrible bombings in Boston yesterday. Especially of that 8 year old boy who was killed. Cause I have an 8 year boy with a similar gap-toothed smile, who is also a big time little-leaguer, who is also making his communion soon. Can’t fathom. So sad and so stupid and just a total waste. I have that same pit in my stomach I had during 9/11 and for weeks (months?) afterward. Why does this have to happen? Does it solve any problems for those doing these things? You can’t go to school, or to work, or to a sporting event, or on a plane. How do you live in this world? I don’t know.
Thinking of you, Boston.

toofless
And now the other big front tooth on the top is hanging by a thread- otherwise known as the snaggletooth. So by the time his communion rolls around in another 3 weeks, he’ll be completely toothless (or toofless).

jack & patrick
A few favorite shots I made them take for me recently. Getting them to take pictures for me lately is like pulling teeth, but as long as I don’t ask too often I think we’re ok. Sorta.
The funny thing is that they’re wearing the opposite colors that are normally “theirs”.

Patrick:
A lot going on for them lately (mostly baseball related) and they are so excited about starting Regis in the fall (and I’m still so proud!!). Going to be a very interesting year!
