hospital/jail
As some of you might know already, my dad has been in the hospital for a while now (actually twice) for a bad infection that he just can’t kick. It started with sepsis (scary, but he wasn’t nearly as bad as you would think after reading about it on the internet!) and now it’s some kind of unspecified other infection. Of course I brought the camera to document what is his first hospital stay ever in his whole life.
Hanging out in the ER w his IV antibiotics and bagel sandwich.
And upstairs in his room after being admitted. Do you not love the outfit? As of this morning, he’s still there but will maybe be getting out this week. Maybe. He was mostly surprised by the fact that you don’t really get to sleep in the hospital. And besides, I think the nurses and doctors are enjoying his wardrobe choices too much to send him home yet.

royals baseball vs. north bellmore
This game was actually a few weeks ago, but only got to edit the pictures recently. Besides, I didn’t take a whole lot of pictures that day- probably due to the fact that I was dying from allergies & benadryl. Here’s what there are.
Anthony is not only a great kid, but fast. Like lightning fast. This may possibly be my favorite baseball action picture to date. And he was safe. And I started breathing again. The boys will be playing again this sunday and I’ll be there with my camera. Time for new pictures.

timmy plays baseball
Finally took the camera to a game and got a few cute shots.
Patrick and Jack have been helping out at most of Timmy’s games- coaching 1st and 3rd. Timmy’s friend Sean after making a great catch!Timmy’s BFF Jack. Down on the pitch. They’ve since graduated from the tee and are now doing coach pitch, so I’ll have to bring the camera again another day for more pictures.

shooting for me & a mothers day giveaway
I really forget to do that so much of the time. But I am trying to remember to do it more often. So here are a few quick ones I took recently. And yes, it’s true there are none of the big boys in this set- but that’s because they really REALLY do not like me taking pictures of them anymore. So I have to choose my battles and save up my picture taking of them for when I really need them!
Timmy and his BFF Jack. This is the only pose I get from him most of the time now.
And now for the Mothers Day giveaway.

a visit from michigan
Jack & Patrick’s BFF and family were here from Michigan over Easter and we had a great visit with them. It’s always fantastic to see them and I love hanging out with Maureen (like the old days) and my one and only goddaughter Katie.
The whole gang (minus Timmy who didn’t want to come outside).
We took a walk over to their old house. As you can see, the boys were thrilled with taking pictures there. We visited Beth too. Maureen lived across the street once upon a time.Poor Finster being edged out. Like the old days when the boys would edge him out at the Thomas table.
Tough guys.Stephen (Beth’s son). Timmy & Katie did a lot of building together. And Katie was most gracious letting Timmy beat her at the Wii. My gorgeous goddaughter. We went shopping, out for sushi and ice cream. So fun!!Going back in time a little bit- this was taken right before they moved away. Omg, they were so cute. And so little. And this was taken right before they got in the car for the drive back to Michigan. (for those of you who are following along at home, my boys are on opposite sides in the below picture from the above picture. Below Jack left, Patrick right.)So glad we’re all still friends. Miss you guys!!
