    10 for tuesday

Wow, it’s been a looooong time since I posted one of these. So busy with client sessions, no time for anything else.

    1. Well, as of Sunday night around 2:30am I finished editing all of the 2011 shoots to date!! I’m so excited and relived!! And maybe even a little sad too that it’s over.  I do have two sessions left for the year before vacation begins on Saturday. One sweet 16 and one family session for a soldier who is coming home on R&R from Afghanistan. Really, really looking forward to that one!

    2. A while ago I was contacted by a friend’s sister who is also a TV reporter. She also happened to be someone I photographed in the past as part of her extended family session. She was putting together a piece on women who started their own businesses and she wanted to feature me! Craziness! So we scheduled a date and had a full session with some of my favorite models and an interview on camera and the whole works. I don’t know if it’ll ever air, but if it does I’ll be sure to let you know. Or not, if I look like a giant ass.

    3. Some cool moon shots from my back deck.

    4. Timmy was bored one day and decided to get all his animals together, and I was instructed to photograph it. He kinda reminds me of that scene in ET.

    5. Between working on all the 2011 session, stuff around here for the holidays and just life, I’ve been working on a whole new bsquared for 2012. New branding, new packages, lots of changes. It’s all really exciting and overwhelming and I really can’t wait to share everything with you all. I’ll be working on rolling everything out by mid to late January- probably a little at a time. So be on the lookout for all of that and send me some good, productive thoughts.

    6. Just a few Christmas scenes from around here, including the holiday brunch at the club and our awesome Hanukkah wreath from the equally awesome Sullivans. More to come.

    7. After receiving my new Kindle Touch in early November and having it sit in the box it was shipped in since then, I finally got to open it. Loving it and how tiny it is. Looking forward to finally reading in Florida. I don’t have a really good book list to share yet because I haven’t been reading at all lately. But am hoping after the trip I’ll have a few books to share.

    8. Some photos from my recent shoots in central park. My photografriend Amandarelli came along for the day to help me out and keep me company. I didn’t feed her but other than that I think we had fun! (I didn’t eat either, I’m not that mean!!)

    9. I posted this on Facebook, but I am officially losing it. I bought Timmy a few Wii games last month and hid them so well that I cannot find them. So I spent yesterday morning in GameStop buying the same games. Twice.

    10. I had a great Christmas party last week with my photografriends. We had some awards that night and I won a few: Most Energetic, best logo (a 3way tie but I’m glad I didn’t change my logo afterall!) and Most Likely to drop the Fbomb. That last one is definitely true!!

Back tomorrow with some Bob posts. Have a great day!

    secret readers

Back when school started I signed up to be a secret reader in Timmy’s class (when you go in and read to the class but none of the kids knows who’s coming in to read until you show up.) Well, we had an extra surprise this year with Jack & Patrick coming in to do the reading! The 1st graders really loved it, Mrs. Powers and Ms. A really loved it too as they were the boys 1st grade teachers!) and the boys & Timmy loved it most of all!

Timmy looks a little excited and proud, huh?Jack read Those Darn Squirrels. Patrick read The Pout Pout Fish (which is fitting cause we often call him Poutrick when he’s in a pissy mood. My favorite line in the book is when the other fish are telling the pout pout fish that he’s being a ‘kalidiscope of mope’. Oh yeah, we use that around here too!) Timmy sold Patrick right out at that part. Patrick and Mrs. Powers. Cannot even believe that they are within inches of the same height. We loooooove Mrs. Powers- she’s an amazing teacher! It’s like 1st grade all over again. Except with much taller boys. Ms. A is also an amazing teacher and I remember Jack just loving her and constantly inching his way onto her lap in the classroom daily. Mrs. Powers and Ms. A are taking full credit for the boys excellent reading skills and their 99 averages as they were the start of it all. I think they should take the credit- they deserve it!!

    catching up {thanksgiving & fall}

I’m so behind on editing and posting personal photos it’s just silly. So here’s some from fall & thanksgiving that I figured I should post before it’s actually Christmas in less than two weeks. I really gotta finish the shopping!!

The leaf ones are pretty self explanatory.

Took the ones of the big boys with the new little camera. I’m definitely digging it!!We had Thanksgiving here (as usual) but it was a fairly quiet one this year with only 13 of us. It was really a nice day, especially with Nelson here to spend Thanksgiving with us and cook the turkey! And some of the other dishes too. Only snapped a few with the new little camera, was feeling so burnt out from all the 8 gazillion holiday photos I took this year.

Wishing Nelson a very happy birthday today!A little football between cooking. Timmy worked hard on the place cards. Aren’t they cute?

    thankful.

For my family, my friends, our health, making dreams into realities, and all my fantastic bsquared clients (who actually fall into the friends category). More on Thanksgiving festivities after today (with pictures of course) but for today, enjoy our apple picking adventures from much earlier this fall.

Hope everyone’s day is fantastic, filled with love and friendship and great food!

Patrick.Jack.And Timmy. After seeing the pictues of his cousins in their mustaches, Timmy had to have one too.

    holly the dog

My really good friend Jen and her family have a brand new addition. A gorgeous golden retriever puppy (about 7 mo old) who is the sweetest, easiest going, quietest, most docile dog I’ve ever met- especially for a 7 month old. Even Timmy who is somewhat skittish around dogs loooooves Holly. And with Holly living in a house with three very busy boys 6 and under, I guess she’s already quite acclimated to the chaos. Makes my boys so jealous, but I just tell them they can go by Jen’s house at any time to visit. Cause that’s as close to getting a dog is they’re going to get.

Had to snap a few of Timmy & his BFF Jack too of course! And after a house full of boys, Holly needs a nice sparkly pink collar!
