waving goodbye (not yet really)
On the same day I took the star pictures up at the boys school for the yearbook cover and back (you know, the day I played spidey and had to climb up a ladder and out a second story window onto the roof), I did the ‘wave goodbye’ shots as well. Since I don’t have approval from all the other parents, I’m only posting Jack & Patrick’s pictures.
And for those of you commenting that there are so many more pictures of Timmy than of the boys, before you think I’m playing favorites just remember that J & P have had 5 and a half additional years of pictures than Timmy and they are really wanting nothing to do with pictures anymore. I’m trying but they are fighting me at every chance they get. Hopefully I’ll get some good ones at Disney when they’re not looking and distracted.

timmy & the lifeguard shack
After all the years going down to Hallandale, Timmy and I finally walked the other way on the beach and found this awesome lifeguard shack. While the big boys were with John and Hakka at the driving range and at Gulfstream, Timmy and I had a little adventure and photoshoot.
Ok, I know there a lot of pictures and a lot of them are similar but the kid is just so freakin cute, I couldn’t narrow it down any further.
Played around a little with the tilt-shift lens (by lensbaby). Still working on getting the hang of it, but it is pretty cool.
Caught the sunset on the way back. Amazing how quickly the colors change.

the rest of Timmy’s birthday vegetable
I lumped the party and the portraits and the after part all together. Figuring my blog readers might be getting a little tired of personal/Timmy posts. Can’t be helped though so just skip it if you’re done reading and seeing pictures of him. But, I don’t really see how that could be possible…
A few birthday portraits. Timmy decided to wear a tie again for his birthday party. It didn’t last too long, but it sure was cute! And I swear, the tie is all his idea. He first told me he wanted to wear his Giants jersey, but as I was pulling it down he told me “nope. forget it. I want to wear a tie!” And really, who am I to say no?
The cupcakes were made by Emily Arnone Cakes and were fantastic as always. And oh so cute. With oreos, of course.
Some snapshots from the party:
The pinata. It was a Cubs one (that’s what he chose when they didn’t have any mets ones).
And some cake at home to complete the birthday vegetable. It was superbowl sunday after all, hence the football cake.
Happy Birthday again, my 5 year old boy. I love you!

happy valentines day!
Timmy’s the only boy left in the house to hand out Valentines at school (sad, really). So here’s what we made for his friends this year.
The big boys came home with a few minimal valentines from school, but that was it.
And a few outtakes from our 5 minute shoot.
I have a few thousand blog posts that I’m behind on. Planning on getting some pictures edited before leaving for Disney so I’ll have some stuff to post when we’re away.
Hope everyone has a great Valentines Day! And some extra special Valentines love to my wonderful, patient husband! Love you!!
