little purple flowers
You know how they say that great minds think alike…Well, I think photographic minds REALLY think alike. My friend (and second wedding shooter) Beth and I both saw this house with the lawn covered in flowers and as soon as she called me to say that I should shoot there, I didn’t even let her finish her sentence. Cause I already saw it, and was already planning on it.
I headed over with Timmy and rang the bell to ask if it was okay to shoot there on their front lawn. But no one came and I just shot away. Sooooo worth it! And so glad I got in before they mowed it.
And a little different processing on this one.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I got rained out on 3 of my 5 scheduled shoots this weekend, but those are all rescheduled to a different day. Deep into communion season and hoping for perfect weather this coming weekend. Lots of new shoots to post this week, so stay tuned…

five for friday
A week or two ago (who remembers) I did a Ten for Tuesday post. I missed Tuesday, so now it’s a five for Friday instead…
1. swine flu- still don’t know where I stand on this one. One minute I’m all “it’s just the flu and no one really seems that bad off with it” and the next minute it’s more like “omg, we’re all gonna die and life is going to be exactly like The Stand by Stephen King”. So that’s where I’m at with the swine flu. It’s a minute to minute thing. What do you think?
2. I’m almost caught up with editing shoots. But by the time I am, it’ll be time for the next batch this weekend. Love being busy though, I get so much more done.
3. Been watching reruns of Sex and the City. Love that show.
4. I am more lost than ever with LOST. Love it, but so freakin confused.
5. The boys have been doing great at baseball and are having lots of fun with it. Jack pitched 3 innings at a recent game and struck out 8 of 9 players. It’s really hard going to their games cause the field they play at is bug city (gross) and Timmy is always into something else, so it’s not like I’m watching much even when I am there. But I did go and got some great pictures.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

the rest from Central Park (& what I was going to write)
Ok, so I had all these plans to write lots when posting these pictures. But I had to take some allergy medicine tonight cause I was milliseconds from scratching my eyeballs out of my skull so I’m a little (pleasantly) floaty, so the long narrative will have to be postponed.
Really, who actually reads my posts anyway. You’re all just here for the pictures, right?
I was going to say how good the big boys were this day- totally go with the flow and easy and just plain fun. And I was going to write how Timmy was such a total pill for most of the day. Which is really not like him, but we’re all entitled to a day like that now and then. And then I was going to write how I don’t get it why they all can’t be good on the SAME day.
And then last I was going to write about what excellent good brothers the big boys are to Timmy. Always looking out for him and helping him. They love him and he ADORES them.
So, that’s what I was going to write.

mommy? mommy? mommy? mommy?
One of THOSE days…you mommies know exactly what I mean. Someone needs something every. single. minute. of the day and then they don’t listen and you get a lot of that blank stare with the mouth agape thing going on. And they all started back at school today so this shouldn’t really be an issue, but it sure is.
I asked if the world tour for the band starts…like um–NOW?! Cause I woulda hopped my fat ass on the tour bus in less time than you can say…Mommy?
In other (good) news, my biopsy results came back and I do NOT have skin cancer. Everything was fine and nothing. Fewf- as the boys would say. But I have to keep this stupid bandaid on for another 2 days. And it’s not even a fun bandaid like Hello Kitty or something. Need some bandaid couture.
Working on editing the Turn show pictures still, and then two client shoots next. So stay tuned for all of those.
Here are a few more from last weeks adventure to Central Park. I have a ton, so they will be appearing on the blog over a few days. Need to see some spring shots as today it’s monsooning and about 40 degrees. I’ve reverted to wearing my coat around the house again. Where the hell is spring and why can it not be here for more than 2 days at a time!!!????
Saw this bride & groom posing for portraits and had to grab a shot myself.
Ok, so the Chrysler Building is not in Central Park. But it’s my most favorite in NYC.
