alessia turns 2
A brand new to bsquared family that came to me last minute after the birthday girl had a little spill a week before her party and was all bruised up. Her photographer couldn’t reschedule the party to fit in with everyone’s schedule so I got the call to come for pictures. And I’m so glad I did! A fantastic, kind family where all the women look like at least 10 years under their ages! The baby, her mom, her grandma, and her great grandma were all in attendance (but I bet you couldn’t pick out who’s who other than the baby!). Alessia wasn’t much for smiles, but I did manage to catch a few here and there. And her grandma made her beautiful cake.

meghan’s baby shower
Finally catching up (again) and not quite understanding why life is so busy! I just photographed their maternity session this weekend and the baby is coming soon, so I know I need to get my butt in gear! Anyway, here’s their Pooh & Friends themed shower which was as lovely as all of this family’s other events with not a detail overlooked. Can’t wait to meet their new addition! Oh, and the bear Erich made for their baby was so great- a little of everything they love.

the karl family
A special 4 generational session for this family who were in town for a wedding. Grandma has a beautiful flower garden, kitchen garden and loves cooking and asked for some of that to be incorporated into their session, so add it we did! Love all the love in this session!

sara & ryan get engaged!
Ryan is a longtime client and to say that my head was spinning when he asked if i could come shoot his proposal photos would not be an exaggeration! I mean he’s still a little kid in my head who HATES getting his picture taken! Time does fly by! Here is our lovely and artistic rendering of how we were positioning the proposal. And here are the resulting shots from the actual proposal. She said yes! Congratulations to Ryan & Sara and thanks so much for having me along for the ride!

gabby’s graduation
My favorite tiny dancer graduated from 8th grade and is off on all kinds of new adventures! She is still dancing for the NYC Ballet (The School of American Ballet/SAB) so with moving up as you get older and get asked back, high school becomes more and more difficult to coordinate with professional dance. So she’ll be going to public school and going back and forth to nyc daily (such a busy schedule). And that’s after a summer dance intensive all the way on the other side of the country. So exciting! And I love the rest of this family- the littlest boy was literally rolling around in the grass in his jacket and dress pants when I arrived for the shoot. The middle son is all heart, as shown thru his flower petal he found. Loving it! And them.
