sarah {no more braces!}
You may recognize Miss Sarah from her Bat Mitzvah almost two years ago (wow, already? that went so fast!). Well, she recently got her braces off, so a photoshoot was in order to celebrate! And celebrate we did at a fantastic location with awesome outfits and accessories. Sarah, you look beautiful (with or without braces!) and I had a great time. Your energy was contagious!
Had a little sun flare fun.

been seen
So those of you who are my Facebook friends know that I’ve recently signed Timmy up with a modeling agency. He’s booked a job as a background extra on 30 Rock (I watched the scene/episode he was in and didn’t really see him, but it was a fun experience nonetheless. And he still got paid!), got a call for a go-see for Toys R US that we couldn’t make cause we were going to be in Disney, then a call for a Children’s Place go-see where he was one about 5,329 kids being seen (I don’t think he got that job cause we haven’t heard anything). Then I got a call the other day that the casting people on a new pilot for CBS (tv) chose Timmy to be in the print ads for the show and maybe some extra work on it as well. The show is called The Ordained. The wardrobe dept. called me to let me know what he’s going to be wearing for the shoot/set- it’s a Kennedy-esque family set in 1988. So think a preppy, 80’s Kennedy kid. So excited!! Looks like the shoot will be next week. I’ll keep you all posted. Oh, and Jorge Garcia (aka Hurley/Hugo from LOST) is one of the cast members. Who knows, maybe we’ll get to meet Hurley!
Here’s Timmy on his go-see for Children’s Place. You know I loooooove that shirt!
And as luck would have it, I recently bought a pair of penny loafers, a pair of chuck taylors and a pair of Ray-Bans for Timmy for a stylized shoot I’m working on. (the penny loafers are also for his upcoming communion). So in the realm of all things 1988 preppy Kennedy kid, he threw on the glasses and popped his collar. Like, bitchin.

nancy’s headshots
I first met Nancy a few years ago at the Education Foundation Gala- Dancing with the Teachers where she was a great “volunteer” dancer. She’s also a teacher in Timmy’s school so I’ve come to know her better over the past 2.5 years. She’s a really sweet lady and looked so pretty for our brief yet busy session together at her home. We lucked out with the weather- it was supposed to rain but didn’t and the cold wasn’t so terribly cold. She needed some headshots for a personal project she’s working on, so we did a few different looks. I love the ones in the kitchen the best- she looks so comfortable and at ease.

matthew
An old friend from high school emailed me (thru a mutual friend/client that was totally un-high school related. Small world.) to ask about getting some headshots done for her son who is modeling and acting. Matthew is a total natural in front of the camera, and a really nice kid to boot. He has an audition this week, so please send this handsome guy some good luck vibes!

If you’re from RVC, I’m sure you will recognize this lovely lady who is being honored at the RosaLee Young 40th anniversary dinner next month. She’s receiving the Joan Sheppard Extraordinary Educator Award, which I have no doubt is really well deserved!
I have one last minute opening for a mini session tomorrow (Sunday 10/21) at 11:30am in Central Park, NYC. If you’re interested please email me thru the contact link above.
