Paula came to me (along with her husband) from another realtor in her office for new headshots. She and her husband were both lovely to work with and photograph! He even said to me he can see how much I love my job which is an amazing compliment and so true! I LOVE MY JOB!! Wishing them both much success with their jobs!
I’ve known Megan for a long time now (yogurt parlor days!) and finally had the opportunity to photograph her. She needed some photos of a special class she teaches at her gym thats super close to her heart (but I won’t be posting those here) and some updated headshots, too. It was a lot of fun, things going in every direction at once and always barely controlled chaos. If you know Megan, you get that. So much energy, but all the best kinds!!
This is my friend Christie who has been doing makeup for somewhere north of 30 years. She is so talented, kind and genuine, and of course, a fabulous makeup artist. Her aesthetic is “natural but polished” and how can you argue with that?! You’ll still look like you when she’s done but just an enhanced version. Plus, she won’t be done until you say “i love it!”. Mary found me thru a photografriend (thanks, Carol!) when she needed some headshots for an award from the American Academy of Physicians Assistants. She was a very reluctant subject at first who really disliked being photographed but as soon as we started joking around and I showed her some of the shots on the back of the camera, she really settled in and we had a great time. Especially when she indulged me in some silliness which will not be discussed or shown here! Congratulations Mary!
I’ve been working with Katie, the founder and author of Don’t Press Send, which is basically the instruction book we all need on navigating social media mindfully. She did a presentation at a local elementary school she’ll be using to spread the message even further, so I tagged along for a few pictures. The kids were totally engaged and had some great input and some big epiphanies! Some of the adults did too!
