emily + yoga
Another one of the awesome four sisters I get to photograph all the time. This time, it’s some headshots and yoga poses for her website. I loved playing with the light while she was working thru her sun salutations. So if yoga ever comes back (ya know, if we ever “flatten the curve”) as a thing, I’d definitely recommend going to see Emily!

jr’s headshots
So this handsome (and soooo nice- he’s always been so kind and generous at all of our previous family sessions) guy just got a brand new job and needed some updated headshots for his new position and the announcement in a big trade publication. So we ran around town to a few “plain wall” locations with some good light to get some shots. Wishing JR the best in his new job!

katie’s headshots {don’t press send}
My neighbor & friend is a published author of Don’t Press Send and lectures around the country. Well, when going around the country in person was a thing. Now she’s doing virtual classes & presentations to schools. Katie needed some updated headshots so I walked down the block and took some new images for her. Wishing Katie continued best of luck on her awesome, timely and effective program! Life would be better for all of us if we weren’t so quick to just press send!!

bailey
My longtime friend’s niece, Bailey just graduated from the college theater program at Hofstra and needed some headshots for auditions. Well, for auditions if there were EVER auditions anymore. But I guess/hope someday there will be again, and that Bailey will get a few great parts and fulfill her dreams. She said that someday she’d like to do theater production and management so look for her in some theater aspect doing amazing things in the future. It was a super fun shoot and Bailey was great to work with! She took direction and didn’t balk at any of my bizarro ideas or requests.

charlotte {tiny dancer}
My cousin Charlotte (I’d have to ask my sister in law who is the expert on the “level” of cousins, but she’s busy and i don’t want to bother her, so we’ll just say cousin.) just had her first of two virtual dance recitals yesterday for her dance studio, Miss Colleen’s. Her mom asked me to come do a little photoshoot of her in her costumes and make up after the online recital. Not only to commemorate the day and outfits, but because just like everyone else this poor girl has had her fair share of disappointments and cancellations due to the stupid Covid19. No school, no friends, no playdates, no in-person dance class, no recital on stage, no communion, no communion party or dress. No nothing. And apparently she started crying after the online recital because she misses her friends and dancing with them in real life. Just add it to the list of everything else that breaks your heart lately. I hope the session and the pictures cheer her up some, it was fun for me too.
