trish’s 50th
So this awesome girl is turning 50 and wanted to celebrate with a super fun photoshoot. As soon as she emailed me and asked if I would be interested in doing an “adult cake smash” complete with cake, chalkboard, tutu and crown you know I was absolutely IN! It was so much fun for me (i think it was for her too!) And I’m already planning my own 50th shoot in my head, even though I have a year and a few months to go…

melina’s senior session
I have no doubt that if you’re a bsquared follower that you will recognize this lovely girl. I’ve photographed her family for a few years now and recently shot her sweet 16. Now she’s going to be a senior in high school which is hard to believe- at least for me! She picked her location which is one of my favorites and we even threw in some family shots too, since everyone was there. Patrick’s girlfriend is Melina’s sister Katie, so I had to grab one of them too. Of course.

gabrielle’s headshots
I was called in on a “photography emergency” earlier this week (I’ll bet you didn’t know such a thing even exists, but it does!) when this lovely young lady needed headshots for her audition later this week. Hoping it goes great! She’s such a beauty and absolutely a natural ballerina. She’s appeared in the REAL Nutcracker at Lincoln Center already and I can’t wait to see what she does in the future!

zoe
This is one brave girl! Out in the cold in bare feet and didn’t complain once! Zoe needed some headshots and dance pictures for an audition she has coming up. Wish her lots of luck! (and those of you who have shot with me know i tend to sometimes get a little carried away and not stop at the allotted time. i held it down this time so we could not freeze her to death. it was hard- i loved photographing her!!)

don’t press send- book launch event
My down the block neighbor (you can see her previous book/headshot shoot here) is really forging ahead with her awesome and aware Don’t Press Send campaign and book. To celebrate the launch and all of the support she has received, she had a book signing and event last week and I was invited to take some pictures. Guest appearances by our Mayor Murray and Senator Todd Kaminsky, and lots of lovely, supportive moms and friends from town really made it a lovely event. If you would like to host a book signing event, please get in touch with the author and speaker, Katie Schumacher at dontpresssend.org
