Another fabulous event put on by Kenny & family benefitting many charities and foundations in our area (and beyond). It gets a little bigger every year with more runners and more foundations to donate to. I’m so proud of my friend for not only running 27 miles in 24 hours to honor the last 27 days of his brother’s life that he lost to cancer, but for being such a light to our community and people who are in need.
There were so many awesome shots/outfits/poses with this gorgeous senior that I’m going to have to do the post in two parts. So first part is the sports & college portion. Shea is a very talented (top 50) field hockey AND lacrosse player and she will be attending Vanderbuilt for lacrosse in the fall. So obviously, smart as a whip too. It must also be nice going into senior year all settled with where she’s going next year!
Wow, photographing basketball is going to take some skill building on my part! That is way faster than baseball with so much going on at once. Challenge accepted! My friend Keith asked me to come photograph his newest basketball venture with his partner Ken, so I have a standing gig for RTG weekly. There’s going to be multiple games weekly, with MVPs each game, playoffs, etc. Looking forward to upping my game (photography. not basketball. never playing!) and getting lots of good action shots of these cuties! (3-6th graders)
I’ve known Megan for a long time now (yogurt parlor days!) and finally had the opportunity to photograph her. She needed some photos of a special class she teaches at her gym thats super close to her heart (but I won’t be posting those here) and some updated headshots, too. It was a lot of fun, things going in every direction at once and always barely controlled chaos. If you know Megan, you get that. So much energy, but all the best kinds!!
My friends Kenny & Mary Ellen are amazing people. The kind that give back and want zero recognition. This was the 2nd year of their Run4Life fundraiser where Kenny (and others) run 27 miles in 24 hours to commemorate the last 27 days of his late brother’s life and raise funds for charities and causes close to their hearts. I heard it was a very well funded fundraiser, but more on that in a future post. Enjoy some pictures from back in April (where it was a million degrees out and kids were in the pool!)
