kenny’s birthday/block party/rockshow
I can’t even believe it’s been a year since the last one because it feels like last week, not last year! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t really cooperating much this year, but we still managed to make it work and they even were able to uncover the equipment long enough to play a little too. Hope everyone had a great time at the party- I was so happy to be there to photograph a little of it. (we couldn’t light the candles on the birthday cake because rain & wind, but i hope Kenny’s wishes came true anyway!)

kathy’s surprise 70th!
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to photograph Kathy’s surprise 70th birthday party out east. I loooooove this whole family so i was so glad to be there to help celebrate and capture a bit of the day. She was totally surprised, but I think the biggest surprise was her son who lives far away came in for the celebration which made her quite happy! Hope your birthday was as fabulous as you are Kathy! Will miss seeing you at baseball.

julia’s sweet 16
A family I’ve never had the pleasure of photographing before, but definitely one that I hope to again! They’re that kind of people that are so warm and welcoming that you feel like you’ve known forever. It was a great night at a fabulous location (The Harbor Club at Prime). I loved her shopping theme (I included only a few centerpieces here on the blog, but each table had its own “store” theme) and all the kids were just so nice and fun! Julia was a pro, handling the whole night with grace and smiles. Hope you had a wonderful birthday!!

catherine’s pre-prom party
A few weeks ago I shot a pre-prom party for one of my favorite (breakfast at tiffany!!) clients and her friends and family. We lucked out with the weather and managed to get just about the whole shoot in before it started raining (but I felt badly for the kids who’s prom was on a boat that night). They seemed to be excited about the night, which is lower key than most prom’s; no dates allowed, no big gowns, no limos or busses, which was actually quite nice with a lot less pressure on everyone. Catherine’s mom threw a wonderful party for the kids and their parents. I hope the rain didn’t ruin the rest of the night and they all had lots of fun!.

jennifer’s bridal shower
It’s been a little “showery” here at bsquared, and i don’t just mean the weather (although that has been pretty showery too!) Jennifer’s mom threw a wonderful, lovely, floral and hat themed luncheon shower for her daughter. It was a great & fun day to photograph. And I loved the wine bottles from the bridal party for every occassion!
