introducing…baby joe
So happy I got to take some pictures of my newest nephew, Joseph Rothwell . He was born on May 18th and weighed in at 8lbs and 6oz. So now with the addition of baby Joe, each of the adult Beyrer siblings (John, Joseph and Inez and their spouses) have 3 boys each. So all 9 cousins/grandchildren are all boys. And unless a baby girl suddenly drops out of the sky and lands on one of our doorsteps, the 9 boys will be 9 boys.
Baby Joe is adorable (even though he peed all over me) and looks just like his brothers did as babies. And like his daddy.
Very proud big brothers! We figured taking the binky away from Quinn was really not worth the fight. It was either have him sitting on the couch with the binky and being in the picture, or no binky and NO picture. You gotta pick your battles. My favorite! This baby has huge hands and feet- he’s going to be a big boy (well, he already is but you know what I mean).I think James is pretty enamored. All I could think when seeing this picture is Joe saying “Hey lady, come thismuch closer so I can punch you…” Sorry dude, you got years and years of Aunt Beth photos in your future. You can suffer and commiserate with your other 8 boy cousins who also don’t like getting their picture taken. Squish!!

A new to bsquared family with a brand new baby for me to photograph. Travelled into NYC for their session at home and got to meet the rest of the family, too. Everyone was so nice, welcoming and photogenic. After a 2hr commute into the city that was a bonus for sure!
This little baby was so totally chill and beautiful, be prepared for picture overload below.
Big sister is still getting to know her baby sister (and is still a baby herself at 22 months) but was so gentle and wonderful with her and loved giving her kisses.I think they’re going to get along just fine…Silly happy girl.So serious..…but after a little kiss from daddy……she was all smiles and giggles.Doesn’t mom look fantastic?Grandma & Grandpa, who stay with them during the week to help out. They have a great view from their apartment with a fantastic window seat perfect for Miss T.Look at her at 2 weeks old pushing up and holding up her head. Super strong! After all that, she finally tuckered out. Yummy eyelashes.Safe in daddy’s arms, time to sleep.

My friend K and her family welcomed their 3rd child recently, and I was lucky enough to photograph him in his almost 10 pound glory!! He was born at 9lbs, 3oz and was weighing in at just shy of 10lbs a few days before our session. I’ve never met a more mellow baby (both awake and asleep) and had so much fun photographing him and his family!
Gorgeous family!!I tried and tried every day at pick up from school to convince K to let me photograph the birth, but no luck! I think when he arrived weighing what he did, she was even more happy she didn’t let me in there!Do you not love his little hands in this one?Smiles when he heard mommy’s voice. After a bottle, he was fast asleep. I felt so terrible moving him off the very comfy beanbag when we were done (so much so I gave him an extra 15 min on there!)Perfect bow lips. At the end of our session, K tells me her uncle is a photographer. Not just a photographer, but a world famous one. Ummmm….no pressure or anything for me. Glad she told me at the end of the session! Congrats to all of you on Robbie- he’s perfect!!

the ilbe family/baby max
You’ll be seeing lots of this family on the blog this year- I’m seeing them every few months for photos since the birth of their newest son. I love being able to watch baby Max grow (especially after his very rocky start in this world!) and see him so healthy and happy. Believe me, if there’s anyone who has a reason to be cranky with multiple surgeries and hospitalizations, this little guy does. But he’s just as smiley as could be and a joy to be around. Just like the rest of his family!
Major picture overload…
I love these days, when the baby has eyes only for mommy…Can’t you hear him cooing??
Mom has a picture of both her older boys with the same rattle, same clenched fist. Big brothers, who really couldn’t wait to get outside to play!!And mom specifically requested this shot- super cute!!I’ll be seeing them again this summer for their next session- stay tuned!! -
oscar and angela & family
Had a great shoot for this fabulous little family at their home. Mom was gifted with a bsquared session from her sisters (both previous bsquared clients themselves) and after some scheduling issues (stupid rain) we were able to finally work out their session on a gorgeous day. The boys were great and so sweet and their little girl was so cute. We lost her pretty quickly, but got in some great stuff before she was just done.
