the boha family
After rescheduling this shoot twice due to kids with injuries (one with stitches after running into a door, one with scrapes due to a face plant on the front stoop) I finally was able to get over there to take some pictures of all of them, including the new baby. Who was quite delicious, I might add. As were all the kids!
Do you just love the chunk? This little one (the one who ran into a door and needed stitches) will be in Kindergarten with Timmy next year. I can totally see them being fast friends. Silly, happy girls! He was so good and mellow. He’s a little older now, so no sleeping shots but he’s just yum nonetheless. Thanks to all of you! You made it so fun and I’m glad I was able to photoshop out the remaining boo-boos!

the amal baby
Please excuse the lack of narrative today. I was at the ER last night (from 9pm-2am) with Timmy due to some bad asthma. We’re back home and he’s doing okay (not great but okay) and I just wanted to get back to the blog before going to Jamaica later this week to shoot the destination wedding. Whether I’m going to be going by myself or with the boys and John now remains to be seen. Never a dull moment.
But, on the bright side check out this gorgeous baby girl and her equally gorgeous and proud parents I had the opportunity to do a newborn shoot for recently.
And although the pictures seem to say otherwise, she was awake THE ENTIRE 2 hours of our shoot. She had a nice full belly, was warm and happy, but just wouldn’t sleep. Maybe she thought she was going to miss something. She did finally fall asleep like the last 20 minutes of the shoot but was then up again. The funniest thing is that all the relatives who come by to visit say they only wish they could see her with her eyes open cause she’s so sleepy all the time. She’s only 11 days old!! Just works out that way sometimes I guess, but it was all good cause I still got some great shots!
Hope you enjoy them and I hope you continue to enjoy your new baby girl! She’s beautiful…and awake!!

the onde christening
I had the pleasure of photographing this littlest guy’s christening. I’ve been lucky enough to take photos for this family a few times now and was so happy to meet and photograph their newest addition.
His godmother got to help with the dressing in the over 100 year old communion gown. This little guy just adores his godfather already- he stared at him and smiled at him the whole time he was putting on the cross. So cute.
Fighting the lighting and the rules in church, not to mention the very badly placed (for me) pillars, I still got a few of the actual baptism which always makes me happy. He was such a brave boy and didn’t cry at all. So good!
And the smell after the baby is annointed with the oil- love that!! I touched his head while trying to position him a little and my hands smelled like that oil the rest of the day. Nice.
The oldest boy is also making his First Communion soon (if it didn’t happen already) so I grabbed a few shots of him in his communion suit since he was all dressed up.
Thanks for letting me meet your newest addition and having me out to capture his special day. Many blessings to all of you!

the midd family
Mom is the school psychologist in the boys school and when she told me she was expecting twins, I was so excited!!! We have become friendly over the 6 years the boys have been there and she’s always been so good to all of us. I was thrilled to be able to capture some images of this very exciting (exhausting, busy, chaotic, thrilling) time for her and her family.
And did I mention she only found out she was having twins at her 19 week appointment? Surprise!
Miss E.
Mister P.
The babies were so super deliciously cute (and big for twins- you go mom!!) and their big sister was absolutely adorable. I was a little worried going in that I wouldn’t be able to capture much from her being not even two years old, but I was so wrong. What a cutie pie!
Thanks for the morning of babies (big and small)! Hope you enjoy your pictures!!

the shiv family
Travelled into Queens for this shoot the day after the big storm. The traffic was terrible and the pot holes were big enough to swallow the minivan in one gulp. But, then there was this…
…and it was like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Miss S is about 2.5 months old and just sweet as could be. Mommy and Daddy are of course head over heels in love with their little girl. As they should be.
They were gifted with a bsquared session by mom’s two sisters (one of which was my really good friend in middle and high school and we reconnected on (where else- say it with me) facebook recently.)
Loved her bright and fun nursery, painted by her artist mom.
Thanks for making an almost bad morning lots of fun!
