the mona family
Loved shooting (and meeting) this great little family. They braved the cold and windy weather which was certainly not easy on the baby, but we did get some great shots.
Their little boy was cute as could be with beautiful smiles and very, very busy. Catching him was quite the challenge, but it paid off so well that I just kept after him.
His grandma came to help out with some smiles and wrangling and she was terriffic! She more than did her job and got the whole family smiling and giggling.
Love me some family lovin!
It took a while and many tries to get this shot as she would wake up every time we put her down and cry. But oh so worth it. SO worth it!
Getting one shot of the two kids together was high on the list as must haves. Got several others besides this, but just loved the interaction here.
Great meeting you all!! Hope you enjoy your pictures!

the gaff baby {mini session}
You might remember this little one from her big brother’s communion shoot back in the spring. Mom had wanted to capture that fleeting baby time before it was all gone, so she called and scheduled a session just for the baby. (there are 4 kids)
I think that every mommy wants a picture like this…
She woke up from her nap like this, and was nothin but smiles the rest of the time we were together.
Really, she made my job so ridiculously easy!

Loved, loved this family! They are so adorable together.
The little boy was pretty slow to warm up to me (apparently, it’s not just me…it’s his way) but we squeaked some awesome smiles out of him. And a little later, he grabbed my hand and we went for a walk together and grabbed some more pictures. We were friends!
And the newborn little girl? Deliciousness.
Love this one with daddy and big brother in the background.
You have no idea how many stares and dirty looks we got from two passersby for this shot. It’s not like we were making her eat dirt or something!! And it was so worth it!
During the shoot (not too far into it either) poor Dad got stung by a bee or wasp or something. Right between the eyes!! I felt so terrible, but he was such a trooper and totally took one for the team. He kept taking pictures and smiling while swelling and being totally uncomfortable.
And I must mention how totally absolutely fabulous mom looks! That baby is NEW and she looks amazing. Unfair.
Thank you so much, visi family. It was such a pleasure hanging out with you!

the cucc family
I was really looking forward to this shoot, and it didn’t dissapoint. Mom is good friends with my friend so I had heard how cute the baby was. Oh, she was!
Had the whole family all over the house and outside to get some nice shots. I think it worked.
Baby on a plate or nakey baby on a changing table? Hmmm…tough choice!
Aren’t they so cute together!?
Mom painted the beautiful tree in the baby’s room. I loved it and had to get it in a picture or two.
I hope you enjoy the pictures, cucc family! To see all of the images from this session, please click HERE.

My friend Judy (who is the creator of Jujewels) gifted this family (mom is Judy’s sister) with a bsquared newborn session in honor of the birth of their son, and I’m so glad she did. I had a great time with them, and a squishy newborn is always fun to photograph!
Their little girl is such a total pip. Loved her and her smiles and laughs.
And the baby is delicious and so new.
We tried for some in the backyard but it was so wet from the recent rain and the mosquitos were ridiculously terrible. So we hung out inside for most of the shoot, which worked out just fine in the end.
Sailing is a big part of their lives (although that’s kinda on hold for a while with the new baby) so we had to get that in somehow.
We call this the ‘fish eye’ in our house. Love that look!!
