the nevi christening
My very good friend Jen’s baby Brady was christened last month and we all were invited to attend.
Although I wasn’t officially on duty this special day, I couldn’t very well go to the christening without my camera! I got off a few shots at the church and then a bunch at the very fun party.
Timmy and his BFF, Jack. Big brother to Brady. And my son refuses to look at the camera anymore.
You might recognize these two. The little girl is one of a set of twins (green dresses) that I did a shoot for a few months ago, and the little boy I also did a shoot for over the holidays. Jen is a really good PR agent!!
That’s Jen’s sister Stephanie on the right in the white dress. She is Brady’s godmother and the bestest babysitter.
I love this baby. I can make him laugh like crazy (then he throws up on me, but it’s so totally worth it to hear that belly laugh).
Much love to you guys! Hope you like the few pictures I took. To see the rest, please click HERE.

the pear baby
If you are a bsquared blog follower, I’m sure you’ll remember these gorgeous girls and their gorgeous mom (Dad was working this time around). Well, they have since added another gorgeous girl to their family.
This shoot was quite challenging (and not because of the subjects- far from it- they were great!) but because it was yet another day of rain with dark skies. The only room in the house that had good light for me was the baby’s room on the bed right at the windows. So we couldn’t move around much, but we totally made it work. At least I think so.
She is a beautiful baby. Pure and simple. Just look at that skin! And that hair! and that chub, too!

the gatt family
Before the rain took up permanent residence here in NY, I had a shoot with the gatt family down at the beach. After a day of beautiful, warm weather it suddenly turned much cooler and very windy which wasn’t the optimal shoot weather for a little boy. But he was a trooper and really stuck it out and we managed to get some great shots of him and his parents. Just couldn’t go all the way down to the water- way too cold.
So glad I caught this face. I know it’s one of mom’s favorites.
Aren’t they just a comfy, lovely little family?
Some mommy love. Love the soft colors.
Had a wonderful time meeting you all. If you’d like to see all of the images from this shoot, please click HERE.

the gera family
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting this mom a few times over the last 2 or so years as she is really good friends with my friend Sharon. I was so happy when she called and asked to set up an appointment for pictures of her baby girl and family.
And I was even happier when I laid eyes on the beautiful, smiley, baby chunk I was getting to take tons of pictures of!
Seriously? Her rolls had rolls. Delicious.
Mom and Dad were dressed and ready for a few shots of their own too. Dad is from across the pond and I actually recognized his accent- he’s from Liverpool, just like our Coach Graeme. I’m usually really bad at stuff like that so I was pretty excited that I placed it. They couldn’t love their baby anymore than they do.
I just kept snapping away. Would’ve stayed the whole day if it wasn’t nap time. She just wouldn’t stop smiling and giving me the best shots.
This one reminds me of the easter bunny.
And one last favorite to leave you with…
You know you could just EAT. HER. UP. To see more images from this session, please click HERE.

the mcga communion
Met this very nice, new to bsquared photography family for some communion pictures for their second son. The 5 kids (ok, well 4 kids and one baby and I kept saying 4 kids. The baby was so good and quiet, I kept forgetting she was there!) were so nice and polite and just good kids which are always a pleasure to work with, especially when there are so many of them and only one of me. And where did they go when it wasn’t their “turn” with me? To read a book. Awesome!
So it wasn’t actually the communion the day of the shoot, but we pretended it was. Gotta get those pictures in where you can.
The biggest brother. We discussed good books for boys who are 10 years old and up. Got some new titles we’re going to try this summer. Thanks, J.
The littlest brother who has a little mischief in him somewhere I think. Just look at that face!
This little one was just begging me to take her picture at every turn. How could I not with a sweet little face like that?
Got some great shots of the new baby too, who all her siblings are more than enamored with.
You don’t want to know what mom was doing behind me to get the kids to laugh like this. But, you do what you have to do to get a shot like this!
Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed meeting you! To see all the pictures from this session, please click HERE.
