the mark family
Our neighbors for as long as we have lived here called me for pictures this year- and I was so happy to finally be able to photograph them! Their oldest daughter (who used to do some babysitting for me/the boys a long time ago) is now in medical school, their second daughter is away at school and their son is getting close to being done with high school in NYC. Mom had a “moment” and started to think about how they’re all not going to be around for the holidays forever and decided to do a portrait of the kids. Dad very, very reluctantly joined in (but he hasn’t taken to beating me or throwing things at me when I exit my house so I’m taking that as a good sign) because he hates getting his picture taken and some traumatic past photo experiences. I hope I have converted him at least a little.

the aher family
A brand new to bsquared family who took the last session on the last day of shooting. They braved the chilly weather and we even had a few giggles between the shivers. I love how the baby girl’s eyes match her big brothers pants perfectly. You know this poor girl is like never dating- 3 big brothers is a big line of defense to cut thru for any possible boyfriends.

the lich family
A brand new to bsquared family who I loved right off the bat. The boys are so much fun and we actually had a ton to talk about between shots (and during shots too!). Thanks to my current fabulous bsquared clients (you know who you are) for sending this fantastic family my way. The two younger boys are fraternal twins (in the red and the green) so you know they immediately hit a soft spot for me. Looking forward to the next session!

the jan family
Although I’ve known them for a long time now, this was my first year photographing them- so glad I got to do it. Three super great kids (loved the candy/christmasy colors!) on one of the last nice days of the year.

the tros family (a “be mini” session)
So happy to be photographing these kids again this year- a much happier session all around this year (last year their session was the weekend right after Sandy and everything was all weird around here and sad and just all discombobulated). I love watching them grow! You can see some of their past sessions here and here. Going short on narrative today so I can get back to editing the last of this years sessions!
