the joha family
You might remember this little cute man from two previous posts- his Aunt Kristen & Uncle Raul’s wedding, and from the blog header as just a little guy. We hit the beach (after rescheduling due to rain) on a very cloudy, overcast evening and got our session in just in time before the rain hit. Phew.
Love this whole series. My favorite from the whole session is the one on the right. He’s like yeah, see ya. Surf’s up.

the ricc family
A few shots from my Pilates trainer’s family mini session. She said I wasn’t allowed to post any of her, but I had to cheat just a little.
The kids are all gorgeous! This is the one I had to post. Sorry, Karen. But all mothers of teenage boys (or girls) can totally relate. (don’t worry- there’s a nice version of this one too)And a little behind the scenes shot of what actually happens during a bsquared session.

the ilbe family
My 3rd time photographing this wonderful family of 5 this year and I love each session with them more than the last! We rescheduled this session a few times due to rain and we finally got it in. I hope it was worth the wait!

jack’s 4th birthday party
I had the pleasure of photographing Jack’s Thomas the Tank Engine themed backyard birthday party a few weekends ago. His mom and I went to high school together (and will be hanging out at our 25th(!!!) reunion this weekend) and I had a blast hanging with Jack and his family.
The birthday boy himself…
Love his expression- it’s kinda like “all of this is for me??”
Almost camouflaged right into the banner. With his great grandma. And Uncle Mark (who is also a photographer and has helped me tons when I made the big switch to Mac). The whole family. The kettle corn was a huge hit- everyone was all over it!Catching with his head?A super cool cupcake cake in the shape of a 4 with the whole Thomas theme. Clever!Ya think someone’s a little excited about his cake?Happy birthday Jack!! -
the mori family
It’s always fun (and full of pressure) to photograph my good friends and their kids. We lucked out and had gorgeous light at the beach with a thin filter of clouds over the sun. Other than the wind, it was perfection!
