the hera kids
When your BFF both helps you and laughs at you when you have twins, and somehow you just know that someday she’s going to have twins too, and then she does and you help and laugh at her too! Robin asked me to take some pix of her kids, especially the girls who need headshots to get started on possibly modeling. And I couldn’t leave out the miracle baby who is now so tall- its just a matter of time until he’s bigger than both of us and he’s still only 10! Robin’s son is her allllll over (looks like her, acts like her, his eyes disappear when really smiling just like her, has her unbelieveable artistic abilities- well, thats both his parents actually, but he’s got it in spades) and the girls are allll their dad (irish much?!). It’s a good combination all around!

the leon family
I’ve been photographing this crew for soooo many years now and I’m happy to report they still put up with me! We did the shoot this year by their Hamptons house and we finally lucked out with good weather! I can’t believe how big (and i mean TALL and grown up!) the boys are. I knew they’d be tall but this is crazy! Can’t wait to see them again next year I hope!

the kra block party
This has become an annual traditional shoot for me which I am very happy about! It’s always a super fun afternoon/evening filled with fun people and rockin bands and this year was the same- we even had good weather this year. And for the first time their son played a duet with his dad (Jackson on drums just like his dad, dad on guitar) on Johnny Cash’s Folsom Prison Blues. Jackson even had groupies!! There was a freshly engaged couple, a waterslide, a few bands, a pop-up surprise birthday cake, lots of food, drinks and fun!

jessica’s sweet 16
So this sweet young lady who just celebrated her sweet 16 is the niece of a high school classmate & friend. I was so happy to not only see Tami and catch up a little between shots but to meet and photograph her niece’s special day! It was a super cute Parisian themed party at the Sunset Harbor in East Patchogue (I’ve lived on Long Island basically my whole life give or take, and never knew this place even existed. Its way off the beaten path and you’d never find it if you didn’t know about it). We had a kinda muted sunset with lots of cloud cover but we made it work anyway. My favorite part besides the people were the awesome macrons- one in Tiffany Blue that matched my car!

the fran family
A brand new to bsquared bunch I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing a few weeks ago. Although it was a bit of a challenge with lots of littles, we had a great time and got it done with smiles and giggles. Grandma & Grandpa have their hands full and their hearts especially full with all those beautiful grandchildren and I’m sure they wouldn’t want it any other way!
