dermott’s 1st communion
Another communion boy, in a year very heavy on boys. Story of my life. When I first photographed this family a number of years ago, you can bet I was nervous- 4 boys? (their little girl wasn’t born yet when I first started with them). 4 young boys, very close in age. But that shoot and all the ones that followed I found out what great kids they all are and have always enjoyed photographing them. They’re such an awesome family, I was so glad I got to spend a little time with them on the morning of Dermott’s day.
I feel like you get a good glimpse into their personalities here. And their newest addition… The picture on the right kills me. The boy and the dog have the same grin!!A little communion basketball. Sure, why not!?

timmy’s 1st communion
I’m a little sad this is my 3rd and last communion for this fantastic family, because we always have a great time and I got to be a part of their special days (and I’m really going to miss the “tree tradition” from the church grounds!). Timmy was a star on his day, and the whole family really sucked it up in the constant drizzle/mist we had that morning for their shoot. Hoping we’ll get to work together again for some other occasion, but enjoy the photos from this one!
Religious statue selfies. Its a thing.I told him if he posed like this, I was totally posting it. So here ya go T.

the side family
A brand new to bsquared family , who (of course!) I adore already. They came by way of another longtime and favorite bsquared family, and their oldest daughter was wearing Tieks (those of you who know me, know how I love those shoes- I live in them!) so I knew it was going to be a good match. We had a great time at a great time of year to shoot- lots of pretty flowers and trees.
This dog was so cute, he looked like a cartoon!Beauties.

the hsse family
A Marine Corps family session for this little bunch. Someone (who is not mom or dad) was not terribly enthused about the whole photography thing, but as long as she was hanging with her parents, she was good to go. You gotta work with what you get! Tried to get a lot of pictures with her and her daddy, as he is the family photographer and is in hardly any pictures with his little girl. And you know I can’t have that. Please help me thank Dad for his service to our country!

mia’s 1st communion
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I’m back with some more communion and family sessions this week, starting with Miss Mia’s. Love photographing this fabulous family, the girls have the best hair and prettiest faces- not to mention how totally sweet and lovely they are. And their parents aren’t half bad either!
