    the sewa family

    For you blog stalkers out there, do you remember when I said in yesterday’s post that switching from families with little kids to big kids is fun and keeps me on my toes? Well, switching back again from little to big to little should make me a professional pointe dancer.

    Seeing this family this year was a real treat- the kids remembered me (I think) and I got to meet their new baby brother who looks just like them! They have one model of baby at their house, too!

    the nini family

    This new to bsquared family came to me thru mom’s brother who’s family I’ve photographed several times before. It was great to meet them and to get to know them a little bit during our session. The kids were great and while they did the shoot for mom, I hope they had a little bit of fun too! It’s fun for me to work with families who have kids of all different ages. The shoot before theirs that day was the one in CT I posted yesterday, so it was a big metal switch for me from two littles to three bigs. Keeps me on my toes!

    the carr family

    Spent a beautiful fall morning up in Connecticut chasing after two very active, very cute boys and their parents (the running was only after the kids, the parents stayed pretty still!). The park was beautiful and gave us lots of scenery to work with. And the boys plenty of opportunities to “fish”.

    The funniest part is that now I’ve photographed 3 different families who live on the same block! Great to meet you and thanks for a super fun morning!!

    the fuji family

    After having to cancel last year’s session due to a husband in the hospital (mine) and a son with a concussion (also mine) we finally were able to get a new date on the books for this year and get a shoot done for this repeat bsquared family. Since I last saw them, they have a whole new addition to their family- another little boy. We had fun climbing the rocks and dancing to mom’s ipod, and taking a few pictures too!

    The boys were very shy and not so into taking pictures. That, as a photographer, is when I start to panic a little. But in the end I really loved the shots we got cause they look like themselves. And happy.

    My favorite shot of the session. Everyone interacting and just being a family.

    the mccl family {mini session}

    The last mini session on what was a very full day. And a great way to end it too as I just love this family. Mom is Timmy’s BFF’s one on one school nurse (for his diabetes), and has been so good to Timmy for the last two years! They have a whole ongoing RedSox (Timmy) vs. Yankees (Jen) feud going and it’s so funny to watch. I was so happy to take their pictures (even Buddy the dog) and hang out with them a bit.

    Great, great kids these two. Miss A is so funny and spunky and T is a fantastic kid (and a captain of the middle school football team) who is just so nice to everyone. Thanks for a great ending!!
