the coli family
Yesterday’s post was a woman who had taken my scrapbook class a looooong time ago, well, as fate would have it, today’s post also includes another friend who took my scrapbook class. Weird how the world works, huh? Anyway, when K asked me to do a shoot for her and her son to give as a gift to her husband, I was more than happy to do it. I’ve met her awesome son J a few times over the years and he always seemed like a great kid. Well, now I know for sure that he’s better than great and I loved photographing him.
Oh, his cell phone must be blowing up daily with calls and texts from all the girlies.
He so has that look. And believe me, he works the charm just as well as he works that smile. Oh, and he’s a black belt in Karate too.
But no one is above the annoyances of mom! Or the love.
Thanks to both of you for a super fun shoot. See you at graduation in June!!

the cornl family
I’ve been friends with mom for a while, in fact she was one of the first people to sign up for my scrapbooking class (that I used to teach a 100 years ago or so!) So when she asked if I would come out to her summer home on the North Fork of LI for a shoot, I jumped right on it!
Not only do they have their own Kennedyesque compound out there, it includes a private beach, a private marina with boat, beautiful grounds and all the freedom their 4 boys could want to explore all day long.
Four beautiful, handsome, polite and fun boys!
A few of each of the boys.
Their house out east is amazing. Especially Daddy’s “playroom” of which he is (understandably) very proud.
How is it possible to have this much ‘goodlookingness’ in one family??
And had to get one for them in their Mets gear.
Thanks so much for a fun shoot!

I met this family thru many past and present bsquared clients and I was so happy I did. They were wonderful and happy and just so ‘together’- it was my pleasure to photograph them (on what had to be the windiest beach shoot. Ever.) But they were all troopers and braved the winds and whipping sands to get great shots. It was my first time at Lawrence Beach Club which was so beautiful.
Adore the interaction here.
Omg, cute much?
She looks like a fairy princess, right?

a carnival? for my birthday?
Not exactly. But I wanted to post something cheery on this otherwise dismal anniversary of 9/11. Which also happens to be my birthday.
Some shots from the annual carnival at our beach club.
Wheeeeeeeeee!
Grace in motion, this one.
He wouldn’t smile. Cause the horses “stink bad, mommy”.
The boys and John are flying back from Toronto later today and I’ll be working most of the day. Which is good if only to keep my mind off of the flying part. Hope everyone has a good day today and takes a minute or two to remember all of those who lost their lives 9 years ago today. I’ll be remembering.

Ok, so I know I’m like a day plus a half a day late in a new post, but I’ve been so busy editing and with other bsquared business related projects, blogging kinda fell off to the side for a bit. I’m back though with a fantastic beach shoot with a great family who I love working with.
It was worth the wait, dontcha think?
They were my first family to photograph after my “vacation” during August and the kids were sooooo good to me- making my first shoot back lovely and fun. And easy!!
Finally figured out what jokes to tell to get this one to smile for real.
A true beauty. I mean, really. Can’t get enough of photographing this one.
He’s grown up so much and I love him telling me he’s ONE (after he told me he’s 5 a few times though)
Thanks for a great first shoot back to work. Hope you love your pictures! (Oh, and can’t wait to see what our location is for next year!)
