the kell family

Another summer, another trip up to see a favorite family in Rhode Island. The drive isn’t my favorite thing ever, but treated myself to a nice late lunch of a lobster roll (delish!) and got to have dinner with my college roommate and bestie Robin on the way home. And got to visit with and photograph this amazing family in between. So it’s all good!

Just need to mention that I loved, loved, LOVED their colorful clothing. Gave the pictures great pop.

When the oldest guy actually asked me to take his picture, I was thrilled! He’s just like his dad and just barely tolerates me for the one hour a year.
The drink in dad’s hand is mandatory for all of our yearly sessions. Really? Could just die of this face?!Such pretty girls!Grandma came by to visit for a bit. I think everyone was unprepared for the cold water!Their babysitter P even got in on the action. The kids just love her and it’s so easy to see why.Yes, this is really Rhode Island. Looks like the caribbean right?
