Back to School!

A little late with this post, I know. But the (big) boys went back to school on Wednesday and had a GREAT day! They love their teachers and were so excited about seeing their friends again. They are really looking forward to this year a lot, especially learning to write in cursive. That seems to be a very big deal and the first thing Patrick told me about on his way out of school yesterday. And my favorite thing so far is that both boys have agenda books where they write in their homework assignments and any other notes- it’s a CALENDAR!!! So they have a list and a calendar too, just like their crazy obsessive Mommy! I don’t think they are quite as excited about that as I am, but that’s okay. I’m probably excited enough for both of them.

I only snapped a few pictures on the way to school and out front. I didn’t want to annoy them any more than absolutely necessary on their first day. But tonight is the first soccer practice and tommorrow the first soccer game so I will get my chance then for more.

So I sent them with ALL their supplies on the first day of school this year (instead of spreading them out over the first week like in the past) and man, those boxes were HEAVY. But they managed and their desks are all set up at school now.

I think Timmy is really missing them during the day, but soon his extremely busy schedule will start so he won’t be as lonley without "his boys".
