the mann family
Its kind of ironic that I’m posting these pictures today as I read on FB this morning that today marks Cheryl’s 15 year anniversary of getting diagnosed with breast cancer. She is the toughest chick I know and she beat (the crap) outta that cancer! So it makes it extra special to share these photos of her beautiful family today.
Sorry, favorite picture of the day.

the newm family
So glad I got to see this fabulous family again this year, this time for their holiday session and for their littlests first birthday photos. Even better, Dad was able to join in this session!
Future ballerina? Check out the pointed toe on the right!

the mcco family {a marine corps family}
The second family I photographed for my personal project (free sessions to active duty military families) and i adored their superhero theme! Perfect way to end my day of shoots in Central Park. Jessica is my go-to for all the families for this project, she’s the one who organized a list of families for me to photograph and also the one who coordinated all the families inviting me to the Marine Corps Ball last weekend- Thank you ladies, so much!! (speaking of which, because the woman doesn’t have quite enough on her plate, she started her own organization to help Marine wives with formal gowns for the annual ball. Dresses can be very expensive and really, you don’t wear it more than once. So if you have a closet full of gowns, dress shoes, and accessories that you would like to donate to an awesome cause, see her page The Marine Wives’ Closet New York on Facebook).
And now, total picture overload cause they are so cute I couldn’t narrow it down any further!
Please help me in thanking Dean for his service to our country! He and his family are truly heroes!
Superbaby.
They love him just a little.

So happy this family was back on the bsquared schedule this year- they’re always so fun to photograph and hang out with for a little bit! Great job on the outfits for the shoot, K and thanks to you and your whole family for bringing the fun!! Love to see the personalities on the girls pop!

the sche family
You may remember the “big bee debacle” session from the summer (a very brief recap- pretty much everyone in their family got stung by a pack of crazy bees during our shoot which basically ended the whole session about 15 minutes in). So to make up what we were missing from our very short session, we did a little fill in mini session in Central Park. And best part? No bees this time.
