the harl family
Sorry for the lack of blog post yesterday- I’m having a hard time keeping up, even with editing pretty much around the clock! Another brand new to bsquared family who chose the beach (I love the beach!) for their session. Keeping the older kids smiling is just as challenging as keeping the younger ones smiling (real, non fake smiles) and sometimes I find myself talking to the teens like they’re 2, especially after a day of little people shoots. Really trying to reel that in. Thanks to the whole “harl” family for putting up with my annoyingness.

the gold family
My second time photographing this super fun family of four, the boys have enough spunk for a family of 15! They specifically requested the shot below like last year’s photo with their faces all “smooshed” up together- I love those kinds of requests!! Mom wanted a “fall scene” as opposed to the beach last year. We were scheduled for our session at Sagamore Hill but due to the stupid government shut down we had to relocate. Luckily we found the only 2 trees that were changing to fall colors!

the lapi family
Was so glad to see this little family again- we always have an adventure and lots of laughs on our sessions. Last time, I photographed them at their summer place on Fire Island while my friend watched my boys, one of whom got stung by a few bees while I was away working. And this time although nothing quite as exciting happened, I have to say that this kid is definitely one of the cutest I’ve ever photographed. Because of that, get comfy- there are a lot of pictures below! Mom chose a great location for the session and couldn’t have coordinated little Mr. Man’s outfit any better, down to the glasses and laces.

the labe family
Another new to bsquared family with 3 lovely little girls with vastly different personalities. I had a great time getting to know them. Mom chose to do their session at the Planting Fields (we had discussed Sands Point Preserve, but they want $300 (!!!!) for a permit to shoot there. Yeah, no.) but you can never go wrong at Planting Fields so it all worked out great.

the gris family (a “be mini” session)
A super fun, playful family of four who are first timers to bsquared. Loved how they had so much fun together and I was just there to document it!
