the beil family
A trip up to Connecticut early in the morning to meet up with these ever growing cuties (and meeting the baby for the first time). Although some of them are pretty reluctant to take pictures we always end up having some fun and laughs. Dad made a last minute trip so he wasn’t with us for this year’s session, but I hope he’ll have some nice pictures of his family for his desk at work. You can see some of their past sessions here and here.
Had to get mom in for one!

the cast family
I’ve lost count how many times I’ve photographed this amazing family, but you can see some past sessions here (last year’s session was posted exactly one year ago today- how funny!!) and here. It’s always the beach at the end of the summer, always the white (although I try every year to get some color on them!!!), and always filled with so much love, hugs and fun (even I get hugs!). And tans.
How YOU doin?
The kids specifically requested this shot, attacking mom and dad. How could I say no?
Till next year!

zac & sara- the portraits
Going short on narrative today as I need to be editing as much as possible! If you missed it, you can find Zac & Sara’s getting ready & first look pictures here. We lucked out with great lighting, a beautiful beach and property at the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville and of course, the most awesome bride, groom, wedding party & family!!

the stac family
Another favorite bsquared family that I’ve photographed a few times over the years. Its so fun for me watching the kids grow up and change each session. So many great shots from this session, I had such a hard time choosing for the blog so get comfy, there’s a ton of pictures coming your way.
This one might be my favorite.
Or maybe this one.
She’s my girl crush. You can see why, right?
We had the most gorgeous pastel sky to finish our session.

zac & sara- getting ready/first look
I was so excited to photograph Zac & Sara’s wedding at the end of August and let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! An awesomely fun and relaxed couple celebrated their big day with joy and laughter, and a few happy tears thrown in for good measure. We started the day at the Viana Hotel in Westbury where the wedding party was getting ready. Zac & Sara chose to have a first look before heading over to their ceremony/reception site. My good photografriend Kate (from Kate Meyer Photography) was my second shooter for the day (and we were joined later by my other photografriend Lara who assisted the rest of the day- huge help!!) and while Kate covered groom prep, I was with the lovely bride.
Boom! Sara you’re beautiful and you ROCK that dress.
How much did I love the color choices for the wedding?
Big kisses!
The groom had 3 “outfit” changes. I kinda really love that!
I just love the difference between the girls room being all neat and organized. And then this.
Getting ready for the first look.
The bride and groom decided that they both wanted to be surprised, so they both went in back first for the big reveal.
No kissing…high 5’s only.
In a few days, I’ll be posting the formal portraits so hang tight for those. Lots more to come- portraits, ceremony, & reception. Woohoo!!
