jessica & jimmy’s reception- portraits
You may remember this absolutely gorgeous, modely couple from their intimate beach wedding ceremony last year. They had a celebration/reception planned for this year to celebrate with their families and friends and I’m so glad I got to photograph it! They looked amazing as ever and really loved being with all their special people to celebrate. Those last two pictures pretty much sum them up- dancing, laughing and fun! Here are the “portraits” portion of the evening- more from the reception shortly.

annie & jeff are engaged!
Annie is my former around the block neighbor (and her mom still lives there while Annie moved to nyc) and when she got in touch to set up an engagement session for her and her fiance Jeff, you know I was super excited! And then when Annie told me it was at one of my favorite NYC parks and surrounding neighborhood, I was extra in! So congratulations to the happy couple and I hope everyone enjoys the pictures from their session.

alexandra’s 50th birthday
When Nick (Alexandra’s husband) got in touch and asked me if I was available to photograph her 50th birthday party, I was soooo excited! Knowing Nick and his absolutely amazing taste, I knew it was going to be an extravaganza. And it really was!! The details were beautiful, the venue unbelievable and lots of my favorite clients were there too! Alexandra looked beautiful and I just love capturing her while Greek dancing. She is a dancing queen! There were a bunch of family shots too, but we’re holding onto those until after Christmas, but I’ll be sure to post a few here in the later winter. Hope Alexandra has all her 50th dreams come true!

the hall family
A brand new to bsquared family who I hopefully haven’t seen the last of in front of my camera. They came to me thru a longtime bsquared family that mom used to babysit for when she was a teenager. And now that family’s teenage daughter babysits these kids! So that’s pretty full circle and I love that! They were super fun with lots of energy and I want to thank them for introducing me to the “cottage in the wood” that I didn’t even know existed and now I will use a lot!!

katie & don’t press send
My friend and neighbor Katie authored her first book a few years back (and is working on a few more) entitled “Don’t Press Send” and goes across the country presenting to both parents and students at schools about being a good “cyber citizen”. I read her book when she first published it and it was excellent and thought provoking, but seeing her present was another level. So much important information for kids and adults, it’ll definitely change the way we all behave online. Or at least it SHOULD change our behavior! Mindfulness, being responsible for our online behavior, stepping away when it gets too much, not posting without permission, etc. Good rules to live by, online or off.
