the manhasset senior frolic- part 2
…landed in Nashville! And being that I recently got back from my very first trip there in real life, I can attest to what an incredible job these parents did on recreating so many landmarks! The country music HOF, Lower Broadway, the Parthenon, etc. The bull ride, the blow up ride reminiscent of American Gladiators, the table games, the “sky lounge”, the live band, the monogrammed basketball court, the “store”, and all the dessert bars only added to the atmosphere. I mean the neon signs?! It was all amazing!

the manhasset senior frolic
The frolic is a time honored tradition (I think I heard something like 100 years or something crazy like that) where the parents set up the gym at the high school in a theme. Ok, so you’re thinking some decorations, crepe paper, maybe a few cut outs or a photo wall or something. Well, its SO MUCH more! I couldn’t believe the time, effort and absolutely amazing skill that went into making this evening amazing for all of these seniors. There are some super talented parents out there- like movie set amazing. Everything is built by hand and not a detail is missed. I’m going to give it to you in parts because there is just so much to show you and I don’t want you to miss any details. And none of the kids know what the theme is so it’s a complete surprise. They started with a “flight” from the Manhasset HS airport on their signature airline setBlue. Wait till you see where they end up!

erica & rich get married {the reception}
The last part of this awesome wedding with lots of family and friends to help celebrate the happy couple and happy family. A speech by one daughter (bride’s), a song by another (bride’s), and special parent dances with a son (bride’s) and a daughter (groom’s). And so, so much dancing and celebrating! Congrats to Erica & Rich- wishing you both many years of happiness!!

erica & rich get married {the portraits}
I got the nicest text from the bride who generally HATES pictures of herself. She said looking at these were the first time she ever wanted to be in a picture that others would actually see! That’s a great compliment! So here are some more from the fabulous wedding of two fabulous families!

Brendan & Luke graduate
More of my favorite Manhasset crew (and one of the families that I said I was just going to move into their pool house) had a graduation luncheon for their boys and families. Luckily, Brendan and I have finally come to an understanding. He loathes me taking his picture every year but this year we came to an agreement. Just in time too, because he was at like every Manhasset event I photographed in the last few weeks! Congratulations to both boys (whom I’ve been photographing since they were really little!) and good luck at Villanova and Michigan!! (And sorry to them for having to put with me for all these years and future apologies for the future too for more shoots, hopefully!)
