the byrn {extended} family
This whole group traveled in from Chicago and from Ireland (yup, a whole different country). I wish I could say that they travelled that far just for a bsquared shoot, but they came in to visit mom/grandma for Thanksgiving, and we were able to fit in a shoot for them as well since they were in town for an extended pre-holiday visit.
We met over at the Garden City hotel and although my favorite area was off limits for the shoot (they were setting up a party) we still were able to find some other pretty areas to shoot in.
The Irish contingent:
And the Chicago bunch. If you are a long time bsquared blog stalker than you may remember these twin girls and their parents from the girls christening I shot last Thanksgiving.
The sisters and their babies.
Great seeing all of you again! And if either of you are in great need of a bsquared shoot before next Fall, you can always fly me out to Chicago or Ireland. I’ll travel! 😉

the school star
A few weeks ago, I played Spiderman photographer up at the big boys school.
In order to get the shot for the front cover of the yearbook, I went up to the 2nd floor, climbed a ladder (yes, a freakin ladder), climbed out a window, and onto the 2nd story roof. Here’s the result.
I think it was worth it. But a ladder? Seriously? I’m 40 years old.
And I just have to mention that it worked out really well with my boys on the points of the star! Big thanks to all the moms who helped out with the star formation and getting the kids lined up and looking up! And Nancy for climbing out on the roof with me and not dropping the camera bag. Obviously, couldn’t have done it without all of you!
I’m not done with posting client shoots yet, just needed a day off from blogging clients to catch up on the editing.

the wals family
My 3rd year taking pictures for this ridiculously good looking bunch. A big change of venue for us this year as they are currently living in the Rockaways until their new home’s construction is completed.
Let me say that there is NO good way to get out there. Or back. But it was so worth it and we lucked out to no end with the beautiful weather we had on November 21st so that we could shoot on the beach. Comfortably!
Love the light!!
This poor little guy was just DONE. He fell asleep within seconds of shooting this. At this point in the editing process/holiday rush, I know exactly how you feel T!
Thanks for braving the (ends up not at all cold) beach with me! I had a great time and was smiling emptying out the sand from my shoes- in November- on the way home!

the reag girls {mini session}
My 3rd (I think) year photographing these identical twin girls, and our 10th year of being friends with their family. (10 years? already??)
We met them at our beach club and have been friends since. I just can’t believe the girls are so big and grown up now!
Took these pictures over at Dee’s Nursery as we do every year. It’s always great there and lots of fun shopping too!

the palm family
Loved taking pictures for this new to bsquared family at their beautiful home. They found me thru their across the street neighbors who I’ve done pictures for a few times now.
The boys were very energetic and so fun. And the little girl was just delicious.
How much more like twins can you get?
Tons and tons of love and sweetness in this family.
So great meeting all of you and hope to see you again in 2010!
