the levi family
First, sorry for the late posting today. It was a very long night at the U2 concert at the Meadowlands. The show was awesome, but suffice it to say that I will not be returning to the Meadowlands anytime. Ever. The commute on NJ Transit was nothing short of a 6 hour round trip complete disaster. And I had to climb a fence to get to the train. I’m 40 years old- I don’t climb fences.
Ok, so onto the levi family. Met them up at Planting Fields for a morning of fun and pictures. Aren’t they so sweet together??
This little one blew me away with her awesome but totally natural posing. Fabulous!!
The boys were fun and so cute. The older one was so happy when we found him some big rocks to climb on. And the baby? Well, he was just a plain old happy little guy.
Such a happy family. Love seeing that coming thru in the pictures.

the cast family
This family came to bsquared thru my friend Lois (who I also did a shoot for this year and I know from high school) and I knew I would just love them from the minute mom started emailing me.
They are the most fun, playful family. And they were perfect for a little project I have been working on with a friend. Videotaping the photo shoot and making an amazing film for the family with the bsquared pictures mixed in. More on that in a few days time, for now you’ll just have to make due with the pictures.
We started off with a little dancing in the backyard to break the ice (there was no ice, but the dancing was so cute that I let them keep going!)
Everyone in this family is gorgeous. It’s just silly. And they are so friendly, warm, and sweet as well. The whole package. So, being all of these things, I took way too many pictures and will post way to many pictures here. They were all so good, I couldn’t decide.
I think Dad wins the prize for ‘most air in child tossing’. Awesome!
See what I mean about fun?
Ok, just two more. I told you I couldn’t help myself.

the cucc family
I was really looking forward to this shoot, and it didn’t dissapoint. Mom is good friends with my friend so I had heard how cute the baby was. Oh, she was!
Had the whole family all over the house and outside to get some nice shots. I think it worked.
Baby on a plate or nakey baby on a changing table? Hmmm…tough choice!
Aren’t they so cute together!?
Mom painted the beautiful tree in the baby’s room. I loved it and had to get it in a picture or two.
I hope you enjoy the pictures, cucc family! To see all of the images from this session, please click HERE.

the mich family
My friend Judy (who is the creator of Jujewels) gifted this family (mom is Judy’s sister) with a bsquared newborn session in honor of the birth of their son, and I’m so glad she did. I had a great time with them, and a squishy newborn is always fun to photograph!
Their little girl is such a total pip. Loved her and her smiles and laughs.
And the baby is delicious and so new.
We tried for some in the backyard but it was so wet from the recent rain and the mosquitos were ridiculously terrible. So we hung out inside for most of the shoot, which worked out just fine in the end.
Sailing is a big part of their lives (although that’s kinda on hold for a while with the new baby) so we had to get that in somehow.
We call this the ‘fish eye’ in our house. Love that look!!
Hope you enjoy the pictures. To see all of the images from this session, please click HERE.

radio riot @ claudio’s, greenport
After doing a newborn shoot for this family, and sitting around chatting while packing up all the newborn props, I found out that Marco is the lead singer of Radio Riot- a cover band that plays all over the area. He took a look at my Turn pictures here on the blog and after discussing it with the rest of his band, they decided to hire me for a band shoot for them.
They were playing out at Claudio’s in Greenport, and since I had a shoot in West Hampton earlier that evening, it looked like it was a good fit for the night (for those of you that follow me on Facebook, this is the last shoot of the day where I drove 243 miles leaving my house before 10am and not getting home until around 2am).
I am a big fan of Greenport (John’s parents have a house in Peconic where we go every fall for the weekend) but had never been to Claudio’s before. It was a lot of fun walking around, taking pictures and I enjoyed hearing them play, too!
They have a great rapport with the crowd and they had everyone jumping and dancing.
Thanks for the fun night, Radio Riot! To see all of the images from their shoot, please click HERE.
