the eckl family
Liz and I went to school together forever and I was so happy that she wanted me to take some pictures of her and her kids while they were back in town from their home in St. Louis. (another connection thru Facebook, of course!) Liz’s husband was unfortunately not able to join us but I’m hoping he’ll like the pictures anyway.
Liz and I talked middle school and stickerbooks. Ahhhh….memories. And I love that she whipped out her camera during the shoot to snap some of her own pictures too!
The kids are beyond gorgeous and photogenic. Apparently, they were not happy about getting their pictures taken and were a bit freaked out all morning. But as soon as we got started I think they figured out it would be fun and really had a great time despite their previous feelings.
Love the footprints in this one.
See, gorgeous!!!

the rhod baby
All you blog stalkers out there I’m sure will remember this beautiful mama and her baby bump from last month’s maternity session. Well, the baby bump isn’t a bump anymore- it’s a girl!!
A smiley girl, no less!
It’s been baby central for me lately (well, not for ME exactly–don’t get any ideas!– but for me as bsquared photography) with 4 newborn shoots all within the last two weeks.
This beauty was just delicious and sweet and didn’t cry once. And slept too! Can’t ask for more from a 2 week old.
And big brother is just as adorable and fun as always (love his shirt so!). But he didn’t want to hold his new sister. At all. So we worked around that as best we could.
Thanks so much, Rhod family. It was wonderful seeing you again and meeting your newest addition! Congratulations to you all!!

we firework’d
We think this was our 7th year going to the annual town fireworks. A big thanks as always to Uncle Jerry for the spot!
There was a threat of rain all evening and we were wavering about going and if the fireworks were actually going to go off. We made it, the fireworks happened and it was a lot of fun.
I think this was the shortest time we’ve spent at the park before and after. They started the fireworks a bit earlier than normal to beat the storm. Good thing too, cause it started pouring with thunder and lightening pretty soon afterwards.
Spent most of the day in the car yesterday with two shoots- one in Ossining and one in Islip. More of the same today with one in Westchester and one in East Hampton. Leaving East Hampton tonight around 8pm. I think I’ll make it back on Tuesday!

6 for Saturday
1. Been a crazy week with no immediate relief in sight. Once this week is over, I will have done 7 shoots including travelling to Ossining, Islip, Scarsdale and East Hampton. Well, at least they are all in NY.
2. Jack broke his palate expander this week. Yes, already. He’s been sticking his tongue between the roof of his mouth and the expander and pushing down. So hard that he not only dislodged the whole thing but actually broke the expander from one of it’s metal bands. The orthodonist said that he had NEVER seen that happen before. Well, I guess the kid has a strong tongue cause all he does is exercise it. By talking. All the time.
3. The boys all went to the Mets game Thursday night and Timmy fell asleep in the car on the way home around 10:30pm. I figured I’d just let him sleep and put him to bed in his shirt and sweatpants that he wore to the game. Well, after waking up Friday morning and saying (with a big smile) “Hey! I sleeped in my clothes last night!” he then asked if he could wear the same shirt all day Friday. So he did. (don’t judge. It’s summer and he’s just going to get dirtier anyway). So by the end of the day yesterday after being at the boys baseball camp and playing in the dirt/berries/grass and then at the boys baseball practice and playing in the same dirt/berries/grass, the child looked like a street urchin. A shower fixed him all up. Well, except for the scratches all over his face from various summer fun.
4. Looks like I will be joining all the boys on this year’s annual baseball trip. On the agenda: Cincinnatti, Pittsburgh, Clevland, and Detroit. Uh huh. Great.
If there’s anyone out there who has good places of interest (read: good places to take pictures) in any of those locations, please leave me a comment or shoot me an email. I have to have something to do. Or, if you live in any of those locations and you’d like a bsquared photoshoot, email me at bbeyrer1@optonline.net. It’ll be in early August.
5. The boys told me I had bad road rage today. They do speak the truth. Just freakin drive!!! Is it really that hard??
6. The big boys had their last day of baseball camp yesterday (until I sign them up for another weeklong camp in a few weeks). Here are some shots from the day (you can see the only slightly dirty Timmy, it got much worse later).

the ragu baby
This little one’s big sister was one of my first newborn shoots ever so I was so happy to have the opportunity to take pictures of their newest addition. Miss F is such a pretty baby, and just a great subject. Sleepy, sleepy.
Some pictures just scream black and white. Seemed like there were a lot of those in this shoot. Wide awake, too.
Big Sister Miss S was less than pleased to be participating in the shoot (not even the Twizzlers bribe turned her around), but we grabbed the shots we could and left it at that.
A little mommy & daddy lovin.
Loved the box and the bucket/bag. That was fun!!
