lunching and leaves
Fall’s pretty. The view today from our backyard.
Been a busy week for Timmy with some adventure.
Some of the kids in his class at school stay for lunch, but he is one of the ones that leave to come home for lunch. Until this week. He asked me if he could stay for lunch too. We could only do it for two days out of his four day week, as the other two he has PT and OT and we eat lunch in the car on the way. So now he’s like a super big boy with his lunchbox and his tons of excitement. This kid LOVES school. Really loves it. When he asks me at night if he has school tommorrow and I say yes, I hear "thank you, Mommy!!!". He really is enjoying lunch at school and bringing his lunchbox. And it makes me just a little sad seeing him go off like such a big kid. Just a little. Cause that extra hour is golden!
Then a little playtime outside where I raked the whole backyard into a HUGE pile of leaves. Ready? Set. Go!!!

the wed family III
My third shoot with this beautiful growing up squared family. And boy, are they growing! The twins are now 5 months old and I see so many changes in them. And the little girl is just as delish as always. Loved her gold dress.
I brought Patrick with me on the shoot to help run interference with the three little ones. Get them to look, laugh. I think Patrick had a great time and really made the dad laugh more than the kids! But he did squeak a few smiles out of the babies which is exactly what we needed.
It was quite challenging getting all three kids in one shot. The babies aren’t sitting by themselves yet and their big sister can’t really hold both of them. So we had to come up with some interesting angles to fit all three of them in there together. I think we got a few.

the ragu family
I first did some newborn photos for this family almost 2 years ago and was so happy that they called again for a new shoot. I couldn’t believe that this little girl was the teeny tiny newborn I met long ago. She’s beautiful and sweet and so smart. And fast! This one had me on my toes the whole shoot. Well, until we found the bush. She loved picking the red leaves and she stood on the chair, plucking away for a good 15 minutes. Worked for me- especially with the beautiful backlighting. We had a great time running around Tanglewood taking lots of pictures and playing.
The poor thing was teething (molars) and we had a lot of pictures with a tongue hanging out, or a weird scrunched mouth, or a finger in there. But we did somehow manage to get a bunch of smiley ones too.
Good to see you again, ragu family!

the schw family
Had a super fun time photographing this super fun family for the second time. I did a family party for them over the summer, and it was great seeing them again. Mom and Dad were in on the action the whole time, having a great time with their kids. And the girls- oh my- gorgeous, sweet, good kids! And the HAIR! Love the hair.
Did I mention the hair?
A little sweet and a little sass. Perfect combo!
