the {extended} cowa family
This is my second time photographing this ENTIRE crew, we missed a year because of Covid- but so happy to get to see them all at once again. I’m sure you’ll recognize parts of the family because I’ve been photographing them for years. Poor Annie 1. still hates me and 2. still scares the hell out of me (yes, she’s two but she will kill you) but grandma is her favorite person and got some smiles out of her some of the time. Which is way better than what I usually get from her (click the link above if you want to laugh at her fall shoot with me). The rest of the family still likes me- at least i think so- and even though the day wasn’t great weatherwise, we still had a great shoot! Can’t wait to do it again next year!

isabel’s unprom
Because Isabel’s school decided not to have a prom, her mom put together a little “unprom/graduation party” for her daughter and some friends. So they could wear their dressy dresses and celebrate anyway! I met them for a few pictures before their party and then they were off for dinner, dancing and lots of “unprom” fun! Glad they were able to celebrate a little.

a new project that’s yum {part 5}
The berry pie was my favorite from this group both to photograph and to eat, but they all tasted awesome!! (this is project is NOT helping with my weight issues whatsoever, but how can you not eat all the deliciousness?!)

catie & austin get married- take 2 {first look/family portraits}
I’ve been absolutely swamped with sessions, so I try to slip in some editing of this fabulous wedding between other shoots. Big thanks to the bride and groom for their patience and there’s more coming soon! Here’s their first look at East Wind(they opted for a first look this go round which gave us some extra time for pictures before the ceremony, which is always good!) and some wedding party and family portraits. Ceremony next, stay tuned!

maddie’s backyard bat mitzvah
Not even a lot of unforecasted rain could put a damper on this awesome celebration! A brand new to bsquared family who I was so happy to meet and photograph, and as it turns out I photographed one of their best friends son’s bar mitzvah a few years back too. I love small world stories like that! They managed to get the hora in between raindrops and Maddie did a beautiful job on her readings. Her mom & dad surprised her with her friends coming to the party and she was definitely surprised! I hope they enjoy reliving the night thru the pictures!
