    Another awesome shoot for this fabulous, in love, fun and happy engaged couple. A few changes have been made to their upcoming November wedding (it’s still happening, and I’m still shooting it, but its going to be on a MUCH smaller scale. But the good news is that they get a second wedding reception next June. So good with the bad, I guess.) We did this session at the bride’s family home out east, where they have been going since they were all babies. We hit up all of their favorite spots- the pier and gardens, the marina, the little beach. Look for more pictures of them coming soon from the bridal shower. Good thing they’re so great in front of the camera!!

    My zillionth time photographing this awesome crew! But this time it was for their oldest’s high school graduation. They were headed off to a special celebration brunch and were already all dressed up so we fit a little shoot in before they left. We even got the dogs in for one. Good luck at school next year Liam! I know you’ll go do great things! Oh, and if you are a loyal bsquared stalker, can you even believe how big they all are now? Especially the girls!

    the colomb graduation

    One of my longtime and favorite clients had their oldest graduate high school last week and had a small party for him and his friends. In the “new world order” the party was smaller, all outdoors and different than normal but still just as happy an occassion as it would have been if things were pre-pandemic. The kids were great and looked very happy to celebrate their big day, just a little delayed. Good luck at NYU Michael (hope you’re there in person!) and to all of your smart friends who are off to their own awesome Universities in the next few weeks!

    the zgod family

    This is one thing Facebook is good for- finding old friends from all parts of life. Jodi and I were bunkmates at Camp Sequoia from 1979-84 (and yes, i am old as dirt. whatever.) Believe it or not I haven’t seen her since 1984! She and her beautiful family were luckily out east in the Hamptons this summer and I was able to get out for a shoot before their oldest daughter left for college again. I was so happy to see Jodi, relive some old times, catch up on the last 36 or so years!

    max @ temple {post-zoom bar mitzvah portraits}

    Is a post-zoom bar mitzvah photoshoot actually a thing? It is now. Just a few shots of Max at temple now that we were allowed back in for a few minutes. Max was supposed to have his whole Bar Mitzvah during the worst of the pandemic (the temple, the party) so you know that didn’t happen. But after studying for a year plus for his torah reading, etc he went ahead with a zoom bar mitzvah from home. We were allowed quickly into temple to get a few pictures there before the rabbi retires this month and the party is rescheduled to next year. So look for more of Max in the future. But like with everything else lately, we did the best with the situation at hand. Oy vey.
